I do.. I want those long nails. They actually have color to them too!
Good idea lets make nothing unique to any sort of job/class at all.
While we're at it can I use my allagan gear for my DoLs?
I get vanity, but can we at least leave some things unique to certain roles?
I really like them. Hoping it's a sign they will add some nail designs or something, been wanting that for soooo long.
The nails definitely help me believe my character is holding his hands that way for a reason other than arthritis.
Well, the gloves really do not match any DoH stuff right now.
And yeah, it would be awesome to have allagan gear for DoH/DoL.
So yeah, I would support that.
I see no reason for gear restrictions other than to limit creativity and mixing/matching.
It is bad enough that I cannot use my awesome labcoat on my SCH
No need to wish much longer! In patch 2.38 we’ll be making it so the Ehcatl wristgloves can be equipped by all classes. :)
Also, while on the topic of glamouring, we’ll be removing the “unique” tag off of the Forager’s Hat and Artisan’s Spectacles in patch 2.38 as well, so you can dye them different colors to match your various outfits.
lol cool, that means we can get a bunch of them and then click them easily on the desynthesis list! No more one at a time. It's super tedious!

It's vanity. More vanity options are a good thing, I mean DoL/H can use Allagan/High Allagan accessories to glamor on, we should be able to use DoH/L options for DoW/M as well.
I'm excited! Kitties every where gonna have nails lol, and I like it on me too! Not sure which look I'd incorporate it in.
Not the point. Crafting/Gathering has an extremely limited list of items unique to them. So far, in the last few patches, every item that was made unique to them (non-weapon) has had that part removed. If SE wanted other classes to have the look for vanity, they could make some no/low-stat version for people to use instead.
At this point, they might as well just make all gear the same as dated so all classes can wear all items.
Aiieeee! :D Yay for no more hideous yellow that matches absolutely nothing except more hideous yellow! I support this.
I just hope they fix the REAL issue with the lv70 Ehcatl Smithing Gloves, putting on it at least the +3CP that the lv55 gloves already have....
what do these gloves look like?
They are yellow gloves that go all the way to your elbow. They have very big red nails and some colorful feathers near the elbow.
I think they are ugly as hell but (cat)people seem to like it.
hmm could someone post a pic of them?
Please tell me this is a temporary "fix"? What is the point of having a piece of gear that suits multiple Classes if you then need to get it multiple times for the sake of Glamour?
Can we just change the Glamour system to affect gear sets, rather than gear already? It would solve pretty much every issue people have with the Glamour system. Give us a slot for a Glamour Crystal, let us bind gear to that, and equipping it displays that gear (or lack of gear @people who don't like accessories), then let us have several dozen or so to Glamour and equip. Done. I Glamour a Crystal with Scholar AF (resulting in it only being able to be equipped by Scholar), despite wearing the same gear as my White Mage, my Scholar is in AF, while my White Mage is also (cannot be done with the current system). I don't Glamour accessories to the Crystal, the are effectively hidden. I Glamour Herklaedi onto a Crystal, oh look, a purely vanity/Glamour piece actually functions as such.
Please tell me something like this is int he works.
I doubt it will happen but I wish I could glamour those awesome Blacksmith's Goggles on other jobs >.<
Can't we change the glamour requirement in general to having the job at that level instead of being on the job at that level.
They really need to add CP +3 to these gloves so they make sense to have.
