guess i should also mention that A ranks and S ranks had no change. so keep zerging those down.

Back in FFXI my brother played a Galka that would /pet Mithra and say "Pretty Kitty". He also claimed Taru were lunch... but I am happy of new emotes! Now we still need /slap, /hug, and /tongue :P

I have a hard time envisioning how a lalafel can attempt to pet any other race. They can't even reach the heads of any other races, so what are they going to reach for instead?

Aside from potential lalafel perverts, I think this emote is a nice addition to the game.

Despite the 'varying height' statement. I can see them be lazy with this... unless you actually jump up and pat us in the head.

...which imo doesn't look like a pat, more like a smack/stamp on the forehead in my mind. All theory, we'll see!

I'm seeing this /pet emote as being an experimental feature for future contact emotes like /hug and such. They're probably gonna monitor this emote a bit to collect data for use in constructing the /hug emote.

You know, yesterday I was looking at my minion and thought....I wish there was a pet emote, maybe I should suggest it, but then figured SE wouldn't even really take it into consideration. So....this is a welcome surprise even if I honestly wouldn't ever really use it
