Could someone give me a rough estimate of the important stats I'd need to make a fair contribution to this fight that would help clear?
I ask because my friend, in one of his fits of excitement because I'm apparently soooo close to getting my relic, decided that immediately after Garuda we'd go for Titan.
I'd heard of talk of a certain HP threshold needed to clear, and I seriously had doubts considering I'm a "fresh 50" SMN still in the process of gearing up. In hindsight, I probably should've geared body slots first so my ilvl wouldn't jump as high and we'd actually be forced to do this when I was actually ready. But alas, I was ilvl 60 with just the myth accessories meaning I was allowed to participate knowing I was undergeared.
So, while I'm hoping to postpone my quest and fend off my friend's idealistic viewpoint that we could've cleared it, what numbers should I be watching as I continue collecting myth and gearing up? VIT? HP? INT?
For what it's worth, in two tries I actually made progress in being able to semi-reliably dodge the fight's mechanics up through the heart phase, but Tumult spam at the end was what roadblocked us. Or rather, kept me from being able to contribute effectively.
Also, a more general question regarding being Raised: what's my priority as far as getting going again? One thing I tried that seemed to work was spending my next Aetherflow stacks on Energy Drain to get MP back to resummon and go to work.
That also reminds me... I've noticed another SMN bringing out Ifrit. Is Garuda ineffective for this fight?

Overgeared players using Trial Roulette will skew your contribution no matter what. Just try and do your best to stay alive and pew pew. The fight can be done with only a handful of DL pieces in conjunction with the ilvl 60 dungeon drops. However, RNG is really not in your favor when it comes to DL drops so best thing to do will be to run dungeons for myth and soldiery and buy a few pieces of i90/i100 gear. Either way, if you meet the minimum ilvl and you're wearing appropriate accessories for you class, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
As for Ifrit vs. Garuda, it honestly really doesn't matter but if you wanted to be l33t about it: use Garuda if there's a BRD to play Foe's for you. Use Ifrit if there's a Warrior or MNK to debuff Titan. They are otherwise interchangeable for this fight. -

i60+ weapon and 3k hp.
DPS will depend on how well you play more than gear, for Titan HM, though people who are well geared and play well will ofc be way ahead. -

Make sure you clear the heart with enough DPS, melee using LB if needed. After that, its rince and repeat.
Pretty sure by now you made a macro with <t> Swiftcast + Resurrection. You might be using it a lot, for healers mainly if they die. The other ones (Tank obviously a yes) are on per call.
For tumult, it's the healers job to Medica, Medica 2 and Succor. Same before and after Titan's Jump: If you are at 50% HP when he jumps, use a potion or Physicks yourself if they dont use their AoE Heals. Do your best to cast while moving, but concentrate on making sure you have Bio, Bio 2 and Miasma on Titan. You're not the healer, leave them their role and trust them. You can Rouse and Spur your pet to help.
It's a team fight as usual. So do your best to learn to dodge the weight of land (and bombs obviously), and when you see the big rectangle that will push you out of the ring, move out and stay still for a little bit. The server need to capture your position, else if you are out and still moving, the server might only have kept the initial point where you were and that's why lots fall even if they are out of the AoE Rectangle.
For bombs, the first time it's in a clockwise rotation: you can stand in middle, mark (1) over the first that spawn as it will explode first, then move there while the rest blows up, then go back into a safe position, or stay there until next mechanics, so you can cast while being still.
The other set of bombs can come into rows. as usual, remember which set spawned first and then 2: you will stand where the 3rd set is. When the 1st set goes boom, you run away from the 3rd set and you will survive ^^
Best of luck, gear doesn't matter much, but 3000-3500 hp will help ^^ -

If i remember correctly, 3200 is the lowest hp you can have to survive stomps. (assuming your party takes an insane amount of time to get it down)
Id go with garuda, dots tick on him during jumps so if you extend those your generally saving mana and making sure they wont fall off while you cant target -

Thanks guys. Did it again just before maintenance after gearing up more and got it cleared. Granted, I was nomming dirt after the heart phase due to being weakened (got clipped by Weights) and not surviving Earthen Fury, but everyone else pulled through. So... now I have my Veil of Wiyu. =D

Hope you get 1 lvl 100 tank, 1 decent healer and 1 dodge-able dps from duty roulette and you're set. That's why nobody sells Titan hm runs for months - can be cleared by 4-5 people now.
My fc tried to do Ifrit hm naked - we couldn't do it but after putting accesories and boots on it was fast kill. -

I think 4100. Geo Crush does a ton of damage after the first one because the arena gets super small. He will always do 4 stomps, each does about 800. Bombs do about 4000 damage.

If you meet the ilvl to get in and can navigate the mechanics, you're good to go. When I get Titan HM in Trial Roulette and have first-time players, I kind expect that they'll die or even get knocked off completely, and it's no big deal. Healing through Tumult is only difficult when multiple party members are extremely rez-sick from dying to Weight or bombs.
