Just for FUN - A figurine??

I was browsing anime figures on the web and an idea struck me that it would be cool to have a figurine of my character. So, the question is, if there was a service available to have your character made into a detailed resin figurine, would you do it? Keeping in mind it would cost a good deal of money to have something so customized.

Just something fun to think about.

Post a pic of you character if you like, always fun to see them. ^^

There was actully a service like this for wow, not sure if it's still active though. I'd love to see it here.

I actually said this once I started playing....it would be amazing and I would do it..and I'm sure we are not the only ones who would!! ^^

I change my appearance so much that I'm not sure I would want my own character. A figurine of NPCs on the other hand would be awesome. I'd totally buy figurines of Minfilia, Merlwyb, Alphinaud, Kan-E-Senna, and Garuda for example.

You could also make your own. Arts and crafts stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby have a polymer clay aisle, and they're relatively cheap depending on the amount and types you buy (some like super sculpy become more brittle than others after baking but are easier to sculpt, others are harder to sculpt, but are more flexible after baking so it's less likely to break if accidentally mishandled).

Could be a fun hobby or project for those who would put in the effort, though starting off with a character from XIV wouldn't be ideal lol. I'm kinda thinking about making one myself, after I make some simpler things and get used to handling the clay of course. Maybe make some Pokemon or something xD

Oh very cool! I don't hit the forums often so I miss a lot...and every time I try to search I just don't come up with much. Certain it is the user and not the system, LOL.

I was actually given a gift of my t WoW Blood Elf Paladin in figurine form, many moons ago. It is on my shelve and still looks fabulous. So yes, a FFXIV figurine would be a great option to offer.

I'd kind of like it, but I'm also not immensely impressed with the quality of the WoW figures.

I think I'd honestly prefer a decent line of action figures based on important NPCs (Minfilia, Nanamo, Kan-e-senna, Y'shtola, Yda, Tataru, Edda, Momodi, etc.) get made first.
I've got the Chogokin RAcaseal from PSO and it is amazing. Something of that quality for various characters would be great.

You're all talking about statues, those are boring.

Action figures is where it's at. Alt heads, accessories, a bajillion points of articulation. I would throw down the money for that.
