Title pretty much sums up my question for the PvP community. I'm wondering what people think about having skills that specifically interrupts a spell/skill with a cast time versus interrupting a caster with every skill.
Personally, I'm for it ( obviously ) as it's what I'm use to in other MMO's namely, Guild Wars 1. Every class there had skills to interrupt a Monk ( Healer ) or other priority target. Even some that interrupted melee classes.
I'd really like this not to turn into another "Healer OP" thread as I'm sure it's the first thing to come to mind to people who routinely try to 1v1 an average skilled WHM or SCH. I personally think this would promote a little more "skill" within PvP instead of spamming 1234567890.
Any thoughts?

Healers arn't OP vs people who have a vague knowledge of what they are doing, but this would probably tip that balance drastically if healers can free cast more than they already do
Get surecast, swiftcast and upgrade equanimity, dont use them all at the same time and keep regen on everyone, just get used to playing WHM in frontlines and eventually you will rarely care about being interupted vs the majority of players -

I don't want people to assume that I'm 'crying' about interrupts; I'm not. I'm just wanting to see if there's people here that'd think it would be more rewarding to actively interrupt crucial skills, instead of just spamming anything and everything to keep that WHM locked down, or that BLM from casting Sleep. Judging from the responses ( or lack thereof ), I'm guessing it's not, which kind of sucks.Quote:

Ruin isnt instant, Its not hard for a white mage to keep you constantly heavied, stunned, knocked back away from where you were running
Also why on earth would a chasing whm not use cleric stance? -

You have a slightly higher chance to get away from who than a sch, but that chance is still pretty low. You are basically as good as dead if it is healer that is chasing you.Quote:

Among Equa, Surecast and swiftcast, I have a near 95% uptime (on both heal classes). You just have to keep timing it right and be aware of what is around you.
