About the Moonfaire Event

THANK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!!!

For the /bombdance emote. Missed it so much! Granted, so glad the event isn't FATE based (from what I've watched), but I REALLY MISSED THE FIRE BOMBDANCE!

Yeah I agree about the event, loved the /firedance back in 1.0 and was a little disappointed when it was the bombard FATEs only last year glad its back as an unlockable emote.

The minigames were a nice little change too although unless I wanted to horde fireworks it was pretty much a one shot deal with those.

Had a laugh at the Viangaa reference snuck in there too haha.

Yeah, and thanks to someone I met, I can do the fir-bomb dance with my weapon drawn again! Doesn't look as good with a glowing relic bow, though. I miss my Ifrit Spear now.

How do you learn the firebomb dance? I've done the original quests, then they sent me to three places in lominsa to talk to other people, but their quest just gives me fireworks.

If you've finished the quests in Limsa, then you should have it.

Go back and talk to the guy in the Aftcastle once you do the three events. You actually have to do the event, can't just talk to them.

Can we buy the yukatas from the Calamity Salvager after the event ends?

Probably, seems you can buy everything else from past events.

I kinda figured that might be the case. I think the quests tell you to, but I can't remember exactly.

Can't tell much good things about the event since it was over very quickly. But each event without a FATE is a good event per se lol. But I like to travel through Limsa and to see the big fireworks in the background at night. That's really a nice view and I made quite a few screenshots of it.

I agree, I missed the fire/bomb dance from 1.0! So glad to have it reintroduced!

you have to have atleast started the event the seasonal items are from, the ghost costumes are there on 1 of my characters but not the others due to how this works

I also can't get the Valentione items on several of my characters due to this

I'm a seasonal event junkie, and had collected every piece from Halloween. For some reason, I kept the pumpkin heads, but had tossed out the ghost robes (probably due to storage issues at that time). But yeah, when i visit the NPC, none of the robes show up for re-purchase ><

If you can see the ghost costume at the calamity NPC, perhaps it's a weird bug that I'm running into.

ETA: Looks like I don't have access to any of the Halloween items. I read that even the pumpkin heads should be listed, although those arent my concern as I still have them.

So glad that they didn't made this event FATE based (hate those) I had some fun while trying to finish the mini-games too.

Hope future events are more like this one.

It was really nice to have mini games involved, even if they were quite short. It's a positive change though :)
