Moonfire Faire Event!! I'm in love! <3 Thank you SE :3

So finally! This years Summer event has started! And it's a wonderfully welcomed event indeed! It isn't tied to a FATE! It's mini games! I've missed events like this soooo much! I'm doing the events as we speak right now, got all of the old Yukata's (2.0 Player here, and proud of it!) and just got my last new one too!

I'll upload pics in a lil' while. Anyways I hope everyone is enjoying this refreshingly amazing event, I'm just so excited! I don't care what anyone says about this comment I'm having such a good time! I'm so glad about this event, so reminds me of summerfest from FFXI yay! How I missed that :D

I agree this is one of the few events i have been able to actually get into ^^ Thanks SE reminds me alot of the summer events for FFXI the nostalgia and feels from this event are real.

The designs of the Yukata are great! love teh color variations and my armoire will gladly accept more of these.

It was short, but I did enjoy the story behind it. Made me a teeny bit sad. A teeny bit.

I wonder, when the pinwheels explode near or at a lalafell, is the blast radius equivalent to a nuclear explosion to them?

Accept the quests in Limsa (remember to buy the correct yukata from the vendor to start it) and travel to each spot. You'll receive a yukata from the quest, and then you'll need to complete the minigame there. Complete all three, and you'll get sent back to Limsa for a final quest. That rewards the bomb dance.

Ah yes, the yukata. Girls in yukata everywhere. Makes me glad to be one of the vertically-challenged lalafell. :O

Yeah the event is really nice and the repeatable quests are pretty funny for getting more firework. Just wonder why some of the yukata can't be put in the armoury chest.

So far, we haven't been able to put the current lineup of outfits from a seasonal event while that seasonal event's patch is active. While last summer's event was going, we could put the old 1.0 swimsuits in the armoire, but not the new ones. I imagine it's the same deal here. We'll be able to put them in the armoire eventually. It's stupid, because they're eating up space right here and now, but oh well.

They can't be put in the Armoire because they are new items, and the items must be allocated to the Armoire pending an update. This always happens with new items that come from seasonal events. It'll very likely be able to be stored with the coming 2.35 update.

No pink yukata for males. Wtf SE. Wtf.

I was just coming on here to make this thread, Marik! I'm glad I'm not the only one here that really appreciates and loves this event~ The story at the end made me tear up a little bit though y u play with mah hartstringz, SE?! I'll update this with a shot of my favorite yukatas.

All of them as far as I know. Shoes, all three shorts and tops, and new and old fireworks.

I can't see myself actually wearing any of the Yukata over the alternatives (Give me a black and crimson, full-length kimono and we'll be in business), but its nice to see them around at least

I did like the events better than the usual affair, but it all went by rather quick. Good for a distraction at least.

You can kinda cheat and use a spring skirt to look kinda like a kimono

You can buy the 3 yakutas, 3 garders, and sandals from 1.0, from vendor, 3 new yakutas are from quest.

yes this event was a lot of fun xD
i loved the energetic music too, and seeing large crowds of people dancing around in the towns gave it a real nice atmosphere C8
The fact they unlocked neat little mini game style repeat quests was great. It gave actual liveliness to the game and event other than just talk to some NPCs and done in five minutes.
The large selection of vanity is nice too (well maybe not large but a lot more than expected, I mean).
Me and my significant other greatly enjoyed this event, and is instantly our favorite <3

During Easter I bought all the old stuff cheap with Gil. I can't see them changing that. :P other wise it'd be a ton of event currency for all of that.

NVM, just found out. If you click on the item on the link posted, it tells you in gil what they cost! I'll be doing a lot of shopping tonight ;)
