I'm just curious. The reward for "Regular Marked Bills" is one or at most two allied seals. Who in their right mind would do these? I'm new to the hunt, but why are the rewards for these so low? Does SE not want us to do them? Am I missing something?

They were originally intended as a way for more casual players to participate in the Hunt system and earn rewards at their own pace, however you're right in that they aren't very useful. Good news though! Square-Enix recognizes this too, and will be addressing this shortly.

For some reason SE thought that people would do them, yes. Almost as if they forgot they were introducing Elite marks in the same patch.
To be fair, if you want a quick solo activity to make some extra gil, it's not a bad way to go. Just consider the seals as a bonus. -

in their right mind? you get gil for these sure there are better ways to make money but not everyone does them like spiritbinding or crafting or even gathering.
i see it like the challenge log, beastmen and other such things. you do it for the gil and the allied seals. for casual players who don't do much and has trouble making gil its easy gil (besides if you get unlucky long spawning fates but thats only 1 or 2)
but se is going to adjust the amount of allied seals you get from them so dw. -

They are definitely one of the things that need improvement in the game. I did them for a few days then was like... "Hmm.." after doing B, A and S rank hunts for a few days and realized how pointless the daily marked bills were.
You get a total of 7 seals for completing a whole list of monster kills, two of which you have to rely on waiting for the fate to pop before you can even kill them.
Or I can go and kill 2 B rank NMs and get 10 seals in a fraction of the time it takes to complete the daily marks. Not to mention I'll also get a lot more myth tomes and soldiery tomes from the B ranks.
It's a no-brainer.
I think by now the devs should have realized they dropped the ball with the low rewards for daily marked bills. They just aren't worth doing. -

I'm sry, I didn't mean to troll. I was just in a hunt pt and got way more seals than the reg. marked bills. I was just wondering why they were even in the game. It seems the reward isn't worth the time when better options are available at any time.

SE has also said they weren't expecting this much interest in the hunt if I understand the translations of the live letters. Really I don't see why that is. The rewards are very high all across the board for doing hunts. You get like three different types of tokens, at once, all of which can be turned in for different things. It's all well and good, but if it weren't for the novus quest, I wonder if people would still do expert roulettes and other things. Heck, because of the way you can get sands of time from the hunt, even getting a novus seems like too much work cause you can just get a gerolt i110 weapon in a day if wanted, assuming you had the soldiery saved (from doing hunts of course).
If you are looking for quick rewards and don't want to spend a lot of time, the hunt is too good to pass up. Certainly if you don't mind less rewards, you can do the other content in the game for fun. Being as you can experience all the game has to offer by playing the game for only a short time, it's easy to see why people go for the big rewards that you can get in the shortest amount of time. It's like saying, do you want 100$ or 200$.. and oh yea, if you want the 100$ you have to wait a hour, but the 200$ you can take right now if want! -

I'm not sure what they can do with the daily marks to make them worthwhile really. The discrepancy is very high, although the daily marks are easy and have no competition...though they did for some reason think to make these individually different while the weekly mark is the same for everyone. It's as though they thought this would be doing everyone a favor since there'd be interest in that particular mark, as though there wouldn't be interest in every mark that spawns anywhere at any time.
Personally I hope they change the whole system a lot. I don't care for the current system at all. Without the Novus weapons I don't think anyone would be doing dungeons much. I seem to see tons of animus weapons in expert dungeons, and personally I only do them for the map. My myth/ soldiery needs are met by Frontlines anyway, and would be more than met by the hunt if I wanted to participate. -

The marks are loltastic atm, I dont go anywhere near them. The allied seals you get are too low that it'll take you best part of a year to get a piece of GC gear, and for how long it takes the gil is pointless too, can make more than that from gathering for 10 minutes. I can find a B rank walking around and kill that quicker than I can do the 2 fates for the bills in the time it takes for them to spawn.
Hopefully they give them an actually valid reward when they update them. -

I think they always intended to increase the reward for them, the same way they increase the number of tomes from dungeons. If they were worthwhile now then the people doing hunts would also be doing them to be getting even more seals.
