An average week on Excalibur... couldn't even get THREE wins in one week for the challenge log bonus xp. Sometimes it's just 3 PTs with a single healer in the whole alliance. Maybe a result of not having a healer class in Uldah yet?
I think the Immortal Flames warhorse will be the rarest mount in the game on Excal...

<_< Frontlines isn't isolated to servers?! We all game vs each other. M Ratio is 50% wins as maelstrom, but that's because Limsa Lominsa prepares us for awesomeness. You can't pay of people to kill for you like in Ul'Dah, or let the moogles fix everything like in Gridania. Look into linkshells for your Grand Company on your server. I know there are some on my server and that's how they coordinate when to do Frontlines first, and then what to do when they are in the instance. Between my two characters (both Maelstrom) I've done Frontlines five times and Maelstrom won three of them. I think the other times, the Adders won.

Nearly all the matches I went to in the first couple weeks of Frontlines being out the Immortal Flames dominated... then I noticed it started to get really tough, after frequent losses it became apparent that the Adders and Malestrom were just not fighting each other at all, they both just hit the Immortal Flames which was the reason it got near impossible to win.
We managed to win a few matches with some agressive & unusual tactics by doing the unexpected but that only works a few times before they catch on... I don't understand Adders on my server... all they ever do is swarm the markets and rarely focus on anything else and seem to be happy with 2nd place.
Well, I haven't played for over a week now as I have been busy fishing but thats how it was when I last played. -

It really depends, sometimes you can get 5 wins in a row and sometimes 5 loss, as TA my ratio is :
1st: 36,1%
2nd: 36,1%
3rd: 27.3%

On our data server, I have 39.5% on 1st within 260 matches (solo queues). So I suppose that's not too bad.

I'm sure it's just a fluke. Unfortunately, it does seem that on our server cluster, Twin Adders are often times starting the fight with less then full groups (even seen it where in a 72 man fight, we're down a full group B or C). It also seems time of day. Weekends, we seem to do pretty good during peak hours, but off peak, every match I've been in, we've gotten destroyed or a far 2nd.
But also, I think there's maybe just not that many Twin Adders doing Frontlines. I always see the same bunch of familiar faces over and over :3 -

Depends wildly on the day and who is queuing for sure. TA this weekend was cleaning up the competition most matches I was on. But during the week I've experienced 5 3rd-place streaks in a row.
Mael seems consistently 2nd or 1st more of the time that I've seen them. -

Just a suspicion but if you changed the color themes of the GC, I wonder how it would effect the wins. Red and black is a popular desire, also begrudgingly I feel like the flames should of had lol ("flame" gets a dark blue and gold..).
In my experience it goes Maelstrom, Immortal Flames, Adders. The few times the adders win its clear that they were premade, level of coordination in the few wins I've seen is too high for a PUG.
For players who have a certain skill rank they should allow them to sign up as mercenaries, bonus for winning a little cost for losing. Or /attempt/ to balance the factions somehow, I can only imagine what it feels like to be in third all the time XD. -

Switched from Mael after they lost bk2bk2bk2bk2bk and ofcourse they win about 4-5 games straight to Adders going 3rd the whole time. <_<
15 day GC switch cooldown makes it worse though it took me about 2-3 days to get my 26 rank back. -

Just started Frontlines yesterday, and it would seem we in adder are sort of tied with flames.
Have just been 3 of us pre-formed, all others random people.
Maelstrom i will admit have it together, always well organized and they obviously run pvp alot more then the other factions.
So many times we got into traps yesterday. God whm's are annoying in frontlines, lol -

I noticed the first week or so that it came out, flames were always winning and I was thinking "Wow, this will be easy to get the mount". Welp, not anymore, flames consistently loses :/
And I think I know the problem. For some reason people still have the mindset of "A to ___, B to ____, C to ____" and that needs to stop, that's not how you win a battle when you do the same plan every time.
I've had a run where everyone was just roaming around, taking over any base we came upon and we won pretty fast, rather than just holding 3 bases the entire time. It's kind of stupid to just throw bodies at the same 3 bases, especially when the other side has their entire force at one base. The smart idea would be to ignore that base and go for the unguarded ones, raking in more points and not wasting time doing the same ABC strategy every. single. time.
Not to mention it'd make it more enjoyable to roam in a bigger group, rather than hearing "Keep trying to take markets" for the entire fight. I'm going to bring it up, but GW2 did it great. Massive group of people roaming base to base. None of this "sit at the same 3 for a whole fight" crap people seem to be trying....losing. -

As a Storm player, I noticed that we were winning a lot during the beginning, even jumping in solo que, but nowadays, Flames and Adders have been winning lately. Flames have been becoming organized as hell and Adders are a close runner up. Even though Storms have dirt points, and Flames and Adders are at an even match, they continue to rough Storms up in our Outpost and spawn camp. So much Maelstrom hate is what I'm seeing.

I dunno, I was thinking I had a decent win record (very few matches though) only to discover it's 30%. I guess there were a few 'join in progress' matches that were essentially lost already that I got into. Currently it doesn't bother me much and I see winning as a nice little bonus, but I'm not especially competitive. It does seem like everyone (on the Flames anyway, not perfectly sure what other GCs are doing overall) just tries holding 3 flags, ideally with B grabbing some nodes if possible. Occasionally I see people try to mix it up, but usually they don't bother communicating what they're doing and end up just running around getting killed.

I've got one character in Maelstrom and the other in Flames. Mael has a 50% win rate and Flames has about 20%. Most of my matches are solo queue.
I have noticed that Flames tend to start out with fewer people and even fewer healers. There have been several matches where we've only had 1 healer for the entire alliance or simply a whole party missing. On the plus side, Flames queues are almost always instant while Maelstrom queues can creep close to an hour during bad times (longest one being 84 minutes for me). -
