A New Player, Looking for Friends

I'm going to copy what I put over in the new player forum...

Hey guys,
After reading about the 1.18 patch and having played a bit in beta to know the game lacked the mechanics I needed to have a worthwhile experience, I decided to give the game another shot. That being said, I want to make the most out of my experience on the Besaid server.

I'm a US player, mainly active in the evenings and on weekends. I'm currently a Lancer, going through the main quests until I need to increase my rank by other means. If there is a new player friendly linkshell or perhaps just some helpful new players or veterans that would like to play, I would really appreciate having some friends.

You can add me if you want to. Always willing to help new folks out. The LS my better half and I made at launch is mostly dead now with everyone left the game, though. You're still welcome to a pearl, as long as you're ok with being the only one on it when we're not playing. Heh.
