Personally, yes.

That isn't to say that I'd actually go for that, as even if I really wanted that,
A) I'm not that financially stupid.
2) I'm ideologically opposed to the very concept of out-of-game activities/events/purchases having in-game rewards.

But that is the only thing I'd be interested in actually attending the fest for. Info, I can just get online as it is revealed.

Myself and the people I'm going to the London fanfest with are quite excited about rocking into ST fully decked out in Moogle attire complete with weapons. Should be entertaining!
Let's hope there are no silly glamour restrictions or it's stupid multi-slot armour... kinda hoping they've learned that lesson though :x

Ya, slightly disappointed they did this for the item. Wasn't expecting something actually useful in any way, but these are enough of a joke item if expect them as a veteran reward or seasonal gear, not promo items.

Cool reward! But XI did the Moogle costume way better. Looks cuter as a one piece body item and a hat. :)

People would be complaining if it is not a 4 piece or 5 piece items for glamour.
But yes, the FF XIV version show too much skin between the pieces.

The way it described the outfit, it almost seems like this outfit will be a single item, kinda like the Odin armor.

Can someone in the know clarify that it is multiple pieces and not, in fact, an all-in-one piece that would be hard, if not impossible, to glamour?

The problem is that, if made into a cute one-piece, you lose the ability to glamour it. SE decided to go with functionality over style, which is a fair trade off given the rage over Odin's armor being non-glamourable

heres the fun thing its a thing from XI right and SE never show off everything i think this is the (for a lack of a better phrase) "LOOKIT THE SHINEY SHINEY" so while we are distracted by the "SHINEY SHINEY" theres more stuff there hiding :P i find this a image to ff11's moogle outfit which makes me ask what else are they going to have to make it more ff14 :3

That's lala thighs for ya! Looks neat IMO. Nice little bonus for going, though not a reason by itself (nor should it be). I'm excited to see what they do for the event and for a weekend in Vegas /shrug the rest is icing on the cake.

I'm glad it isn't a mount (as others said).

Mounts are too close to main content imo (games, specially mmo's are not all about combat- the play to win can be applied to other non-combat items). Plus ... ;_; I'm sad I can't go, wife couldn't get time off and I prefer not to travel for enjoyment without my wife... that doesn't sound fun ;(

I dont know this suit looks creepy to me not cute at all

I was hoping that the item(s) would be a moogle themed outfit or item of some sort, but I'm actually pretty disappointed by this. It looks like they just slapped the head model for the actual moogles in the game on the head piece, and the hands and feet are pretty creepy. The body piece lacks any kind of indication that the outfit was crafted, so it just looks really lazy to me.

I personally would have loved if they would have made it an outfit that actually looks fashionable to go with my moogle hat, instead of a goofy mascot look with weird bear hands and feet. If the outfit is all tied together and not individual pieces it pretty much guaruntees that I'll only be busting the thing out to creep people out (much like the reindeer, snowman, and chocobo outfits), instead of actually integrating it into any of my glamours - which is really too bad.

Oh well, free is free.

If anyone is creeped out by a Lala in a Reindeer outfit, they have issues.

Funny that when people asked if they bought tickets and couldn't attend we got told it wasn't possible because SE wanted to "make sure the items go to those who actually attend". If these are just redeemed via a code, expect to see the codes getting flipped on eBay before the first day of Fan Festival is over.
