Hi,
Just a suggestion. It would be nice to have rerair npc's at each of the camps. That way if you have heavy gear damage you do not need to abandon a leve to get your gear repaired.

Good idea, and it would be a much needed gilsink (albeit a small one).
I'd actually like to see them add an NPC you could sell things to at each camp.
A repair NPC in front of each dungeon would be really nice.
I agree with this as well as NPC vendors for buying and selling at every camp not just the first low rank camps.
100% agree
Every camp needs an item NPC and a repair NPC at the very least. Would it be too much to ask for a leve counter as well? :P
Or make an NPC that buys your stuff, sells dark matter, AND repairs your gear?
/mindblown
I like this
An NPC vender would be absolutely wonderful at all the camps. My inv gets so clogged with junk while gathering, but I'd rather sell them for a bit a gil instead of throwing it away.
Repair NPCs at camps would be very nice too. I'm at the lvl I'll probably need to start having repairs more often ^_^;
/bump
For great justice!
Do it naoi plox.
I brought up this topic a while ago and it did get quite a bit of response. It's a great suggestion so i think it's something we need to keep bringing up, so bump!
Lets get this notice!! Bump!
I agree a vendor/repair npc at the camps would be awesome.
How about not dying so much, then you won't need these extra places to repair
- this should get you some bumps :)
I made this same comment about 9 months ago... I also think camps should have retainer bells... though some people disagreed with that... Maybe retainer bells at the raid staging grounds, though?
We forwarded your suggestions to the dev. team and they informed us that they will look into the possibility of placing repair/vendor NPCs at camps and outside of dungeons. :)
Thanks for looking out~
Did the dev team honestly never even consider adding repair npcs to camps before this topic was made or are we just getting the dummied down answer? This has been talked about by players since retail release...
Honestly I think this is an awful idea unless you plan on having those NPCs charge more for repairs because they offer a service that saves the player time. As I see it now it takes 10 deaths to go from 100-0% durability if you don't raise or return so the issue comes down to players just not playing carefully. During a normal leve run you shouldn't have to repair your gear and if you gear is being damaged a lot from dungeons then you need to play more careful.
I just hope that if the devs do decide to add this they incure a 100% tax for said repairs so at least those who are more fickle with their money may reconsider using it and actually go back to town. I mean with chocbos and airships being introduced in the near future I feel this issue will go away.
This is a WONDERFUL idea. I hate having to rely on my Linkshell or running back to the cities when I'm out of Anima just to repair my stuff since I can't do it myself.
Having one at every camp would be nice. At this point, I'd even settle for them at the Hamlets that are scattered about that really don't do much of anything at all.
Yeah I agree. Repair NPC and a trash vendor so you don't need to waste anima or 45 minutes walking to town to sell all the useless crap you pick up
Honestly, I do not expect to have rentals at every camps, I think the new outposts should have stables, the old little towns like Aleport and Golden Bazaar should have them, the ferry dock should have one. Also maybe one or 2 select Leve camps should have them. I think Dragonhead of Glory should have it for sure in Coerthas, with Dragonhead being right near Ishgard it wouldnt be a bad idea that or make the higher level camps in the zones have it.
The mini settlements recently introduced? Yeah that would be a nicer place to put them rather than every camp i guess. I hope they liven those settlements up a bit more as well, they feel a little dull right now, but im guessing thats coming in a future patch anyway :)
