So... who's goin'?

Got my room booked before the first wave of tickets went on for sale. Who else managed to sneak in? Better yet, did you manage to get a deal on your room? Sticking with the Rio, or are you staying elsewhere?

Girlfriend and I are going, staying at the Venetian.
The Rio isn't the best Vegas has to offer, by far.

Got 2 of the last 9 early access tickets, flying private so we can leave/return when we like.

Should be a really fun time!

I will be attending with my boyfriend, as well as five other members from my FC... so, seven members... almost like a small FC meetup! Super excited... I also booked my room after the dates/location was announced, and as far as I know there is no block of reduced price rooms... so we're stuck with the expense, but it will be convenient to be staying in the same hotel as the festival. I hope they release more details soon!

I am going! I am booked to stay Friday and Leave back home Monday morning.. I will be stayinghg at the Gold Coast Hotel 1 block from Rio.. Who here will be in Gold Coast?

I will be attending as well. I booked at the Rio tho I also heard bad reviews for it after the fact. But I will stay regardless just for easy access to my room for the weekend. I'm arriving on Thursday to enjoy a night of vegas before I get my nerd on till Monday!

Heading there also. Arriving on Thursday with 3 other FC members. Looking forward to it.

Got my ticket for the event, my room set aside, and my plane tickets booked. Now I just have to scramble to get all the little things I need to do done by October. Will be my first vacation in a LONG while (Like 8 years)...looking forward to it, and meeting with at least four of my FC friends. Never been to Vegas before, but some of them are from the area, so hopefully they'll be able to keep me out of too much trouble...or with some of them being from the area they'll know exactly where to get me INTO trouble...

Anxious to see what all they've got planned for the event, can't wait for the full site that's been coming soon forever..heh

I will be attending, this will be my first time at a Fan Fest. ^_^

Myself and my boyfriend will be going :) We also got advanced tickets and snagged a room in the Rio.

I want to go really bad, but finances are not the most stellar right now due to a lot of emergency home repair things. But I will definitely be saving up to go next year! I just hope that any convention-exclusive rare items carry over to the next Fanfest!

I have 4 family members going, and we are staying in the same hotel. we plan on meeting at least 2 other FC members.

Gonna be there from Wednesday til Monday mornin! As a broke young adult, spending over a thousand bucks on rooming, flight, and ticket(s) has been the best decision of my life.

I regret nothing! ...My wallet, however, is now refusing to speak with me.

I got tickets for me and a friend to go but still working on arranging to get the time off work since the finalized dates weren't announced until after my filing cutoff, that said I will probably just stay somewhere cheap since its just a room and either walk or shuttle to the rio.

I'm pretty sure I'm going!

Theories:
1) Bayohne can be bribed into letting others of the team go to Fan Fest. He is considering letting Camate go... If Camate knows what to do.
2) Bayohne is tired of Camate's poor tanking skills, and has decided to replace Camate with Bayohne-te.

I'll be there with a majority of my FC! Most of them I met in XI, dating back almost ten years ago, but this will be the first time I meet them in person! I'm very, very excited to finally meet these weirdos I've been healing for a decade. :)

So yeah My room was standard for 2 Queen size beds so I have room for one guest for the 3 nights if anyone is interested in a cheaper price right now... If you are interested in the offer... please let me know and we can try and communicate in private somewhere of the details.

I'll be there. I live in Vegas, so driving to and from the Rio everyday; unless someone wants to split cost on a room with me.

I will be there was 3 to 5 others in tow. I also live in Vegas so it is a round trip each day. =)

Never got to attend the XI FanFests, so I'm so excited I get to attend the first XIV one. ^^ Will be going with my husband. Sadly none of our FC mates are attending but one of our LS mates from XI will be there!

I'll be going along with my cousin and friend from our raid group. Can't wait to meet people from the game!

My husband and I are going ^_^ We went to one of the XI fan fests, so really excited to see what's in store for this one. Also have a group of around 10 FC members going, so we're really looking forward to the adventure together! Met most of them in XI 10 years ago (wow now I feel old!)

The big question is, will there be an open bar at registration like at the FFXI '08 Fest? ;)

I will certainly be going, though I made sure to NOT book any hotels and whatnot before I actually got a ticket. :v

I know some other FC-mates will be there too, so it should be a good time!

Given that I think they anticipate a number of minors attending, I would rather suspect not. :v
