For those interested, it's called the "Eorzea Cafe".

Dat Titan burger ....
Now I'm hungry.
All the food names are great and they finally have "eorzea foods in real life" :D

That food looks awesome lol
Basically like what they did with FFXI at vanafests.
Bad breath sauce? I guess they went heavy on the garlic in that one ;)
I hope the cafe will be there when I go visit next year. =^o^=
If anyone goes to Japan I highly recommend the Square Enix Artnia Cafe in Shinjuku. They had the strongest mixed drinks compared to all the other themed cafes I went to.
They really need to serve this too

It is in Akihabara close to the JR station.
Only problem is they sell a set number of tickets for three diffrent times during the day and you can only get in for the time your ticket is for and you have to leave before the next group comes in.
I went to a One Piece cafe like that and it was very crowded and customers were not allowed to take photos inside. Oh well I need to go to Akihabara this weekend for hobby supplies so might swing by and see about getting a ticket.

That food looks horrible lol
Is today~!!!! :D I SO wish I can go!
Wow, this cafe looks awesome. If I ever go to Japan I'm going to try and visit it.
What else I want to see in the cafe:
Miqote and Roe maids
Lalafell shoe shine boy
That landslide burger.... Is it a fore shadow of whats to come after 20mins of eating the burger?
Wish I could go. T_T
The Leviathan dish looks pretty good (as I said in the other thread about this yesterday, mostly because of the Blue broth it's in) and the La Noscean Toast looks great, but...
As a chef... I'll give some leeway for the less than good quality of the photography (also a photographer and the lighting is really bad for food photography in those shots) but the food looks... well... Let's just say some serious work needs to be done on plating and that Ifrit's Plume Pizza... I certainly hope it tastes better than it looks because it looks like a hot mess. (and the pasta dish looks good but the plating needs work, those greens look like an afterthought placed like that, and badly wilted). It looks like they tried to hold to true to the items icons, and while it looks fine in the icon in the game, it doesn't quite look so good when on a real plate.
Otherwise the place looks neat and I wish I could see it, but sadly I don't think I'd ever be able to.
I'd love it if they have food modeled after the food in game. Imagine being able to eat buttons in a blanket, miqote kebab, rolanbery cheese cake, etc.
oh myahele that would be awsome, i love the Jumbo Dodo Omelette dish ^ ^
I saw an article about this place on Kotaku earlier today. I wanna try a Titan Burger!
I'll have to echo the sentiment that the food doesn't look that great, but from everything I've been told about these promotional cafes, that's par for the course.
Not much I could really eat there anyway, and I'd never go through the hassle involved regardless... But at least the decorations are pleasant
Is it me or does the spinach quiche have a chocobo silhouette?
Anyways, reason why people seem to dislike the 'look' of the food is probably because the displayed food seems.... left out to just sit there.
Like the butter on the la noscan toast isn't even melted... and that ifrit pizza looks like something that would happen when you leave out most delivery pizzas for a day or two.
Pretty sure it would look more pleasant if they didn't use the 'display' food. Though... to be honest when did your food actually looked like the plastic sculpt imitation on the billboard anyway?
The reason the food looks a little strange is probably because it is display food. Its extremely common in Japan to see a window full of display food at most restaurants. This food is traditionally made from wax but today more often is casted rubber, etc. It is not actual food at all :) (I did a class in Tokyo where we made wax display food, its pretty fun!). So things like the butter or cheese on the pizza may look a little strange. Often the replica food looks pretty good but it can be hit or miss.
(I've seen this in the US before, but its ubiquitous in Japan)
Does anyone know if the cafe is doing well or if it'll still be open for awhile? I'm going to Japan in mid April and would like to visit if it's still there.
I need to go to Japan just for this O_O
