Just how do they wear the spectacle style headgears? They have no ears on the side of their head to hook the glasses onto.

Duct tape.
Skyhooks..........10charlol
We have another set of ears under the hair.
...thanks...now i will forever think about this when I see my character in glasses XD
Pretty simple, actually. Since headwear magically changes shape anyway, in this case the glasses just function like a circlet does, just lower on the head. Think goggles.
The same way anything in a fantasy world is explained. Magic.
The same way we wear headbands or any other forehead jewelry, there is a small strap that goes around the back of our heads.
Make a knot with your hair.

true story. got many slaps while investigating this.
Some glasses don't even have arms that go around the head at all. For instance, there's monocles and glasses that just cling to the nose. I think it comes down to proper weight balancing and size and structural shape for your face/head so that it can get traction wherever it is. If the item isn't very heavy, it doesn't need such a solid grip to maintain its position. A slight squeeze in the right place is enough for it to hold itself up. I believe that is the concept behind monocles and nose-sitters so can't see why it can't work for things that have the added benefit of arms to lightly grip the head itself with, regardless of ear placement.
There is a rubber band on it
