Anyone else use a 12 button mouse on the side and drinks coffee and smokes with one hand and use the other as pure laziness on the mouse as a scholar.. also letting your pet do as much work as possible.. Like me LOL?

Put follow on tank and just let Eos handle everything.
Now you have both hands free
Noooooooo don't get Eos nerfed...
That said, my gf does this with white mage. She has most of her stuff mapped to her mouse and heals primarily using it. I thought about leveling whm for that reason lol
I must admit, I do use a 12 button mouse thingy. I was a little unsure of it at first, but i cannot see myself without one now. I would not say it was lazy, but it certainly is a connivance! :D
12 button mouse? What is it the size of the keyboard? Guess I better look at updating my PC since I never have since I bought it in 2006.
I do. I have my entire UI built around using my Naga and /mo macro's.
I could do this if i wanted to spend money on a decent mouse :P
But on the other hand I prefer to be actively engaged with whatever i'm doing, so i have all my spells hotkeyed to different buttons instead :P
If i wanted to be lazy while healing, I'd go back to playing WoW :'(
I hardly think that using a 12-button mouse qualifies as being lazy. I'm lazy because I'd rather hit my keybinds with my thumb than stretch my fingers all over my keyboard? Why would I do that when it's so much more physically comfortable and convenient to use my mouse and be able to keep my left hand on WASD at all times? I use 1-12 on my naga on hotbar 1, shift+1-12 for hotbar 2 and ctrl+1-12 for hotbar 3. I really don't understand how that makes me lazy. Sitting there doing nothing when everyone's topped off? Sure, that's a lazy healer in my eyes. Using a gaming mouse but staying busy 100% of the time? I don't see it, sorry.

Picture of my HUD set up to use with the Naga. I also use the Razer Orbweaver to move around with.
This is coming from someone who mains healer, mostly Scholar...
I don't like lazy healers. If you aren't doing anything, especially you Scholar, you could be helping dps. I don't like when people just sit there. Just a personal opinion. Sometimes I'll queue up the low level roulette and the healer just sits there twiddling their thumbs. But like I said, it's just a personal opinion :>
So does that mean you take debuffs off of PT members too? Eos/Selene cannot do them.
Healing requires more concentration to be an effective healer.
Each to their own. Personally I think healer should just concentrate on healing. If they feel skilled enough then yes, DPS too. This game actually seems to encourage that, what with things like Cleric Stance and Holy, but I do not think it should be a requirement or a judgment on how good a healer they are.
As I said, each to their own! :)
Nope. I enjoy being a healer.
So I am always focus, even on lower levels...at that time since you can basically solo heal Eos/Selene up to Haukke NM.
You can help out by DPS just as DeadRiser said...I also main SCH and you can help with debufs and all.
but as Hurlstone said, to each their own.
