I'm tired to see players that leave when your GC is losing in order to avoid collecting 3rd places.
I suggest to give to the leavers 1st, 2nd or 3rd place when the frontline end.
I think that give to the leavers the worst place is not correct, because someone maybe should leave just for internet problem or because of important things in real life.
I suggest also to apply this things only after 5 mins after the beginning.
Obviously they will receive only the reputation, not the reward.

Just make a penalty for leaving pvp and call it a day. Basic way to do this is to lock them out for an hour.

They added a timer for leaving PvP now for 30 minutes. Thanks again Square for adding crap in your hotfixes and not letting people know. This is unacceptable how you manage things and don't deal with anything important. I'm so close to unsubbing from this game as every patch gets worse and SE cares less and less.
We had a WHOLE alliance that had 0 party members when we got in. Where the hell is the timer for them? We had 16 people vs 24 vs 24, and thats fair to start with? Not at all, we naturally didn't get a single Outpost and were getting stomped. So we were all going to leave cause well, thats completely unfair that Square's broken game screws people over and wastes there time. And now theres a timer and you didn't tell us??? Stop posting hotfixes and then putting Ninja fixes in there, thats so unprofessional and lazy. -

ATM, for a 24x24x24 fight, the queue waits until it collects ALL 24 players for each team, then gives the Duty Finder 'ready' screen to all. Those that 'accept' are placed in the match, those who decline/don't show up/afk do not get in the match. This is happening because SE is allowing the queues to go through even if ALL 72 players don't hit Start...which was a request made by the players btw which square honored.Quote:

Still, I honestly don't get why people leave just because they are losing. Sure losing sucks, but you still get the same Myth/Sold rewards...and some PvP exp/wolf marks for 3rd/2nd place. So if you're trying to rank up, it makes more sense to stay. Also, the 30 minute penalty should dissuade most from leaving as well, waiting 5 mins for the dreadful match to be over vs. waiting 30 to enter what could be potentially another losing match.
But I actually think what you're seeing is more 'AFK kicking....where the character simply hasn't moved enough over the match' than anything else. IE person might be 'defending' a flag, and alt-tabbing something else on their computer, and get distracted and not move within the 2 min window you must move or be considered AFK and kicked by the game out of the match. And I suspect, more people do this when 'we're down by 600 points anyway, might as well read this while we wait for the other teams to clean up' than when they are winning. -
