Hunting have broken the game

Why people hunt ? = GEAR (Novus or upgrade their solds gear)

IT's hard to gather people in PF to do anything nowadays... especially in smaller servers.

At least, make possible for Ramuh XM and T6 + to join with DF... so we can AT LEAST, join as progression groups and learn faster these events.

While we at it... SE should take out the greed option for T6 +, so if you want to gear up your ALTS jobs, you enter with that job. Of course, for that idea, SE should make possible to clear same raid floor with a different job.

In other wods, i clear T6 with my PLD.. i can't re-do with my PLD.. but i can with my BRD.. see what i mean ?

That way.. people will do less hunt, and more T6 +, wich i beleive, is much more fun. Not to mention, will be easier to find a static group for some people, since more static groups will be needed.

I just want to bring down HUNT and bring up T6 +... what's wrong with that ?

Everyone is feeling the pressure, it will ebb and flow until need for sand/oil/alex dies down. It might be wise to catch the rush while you can and get yourself some sand for main/alt BiS sol pieces.

Keep in mind these are both still really new. If history is any indicator, we will have this soon enough. Second Coil and Ramuh EX will eventually be in the DF just like the others, and the weekly lockout will be removed.

I agree with OP. PF on Ultima only has parties for hunts and I would seriously like to try out SCOB and other EX Primal fights but instead people only want to do hunts. Hunts are fine but there are other content pieces in the game that can and should be enjoyed equally. With the hunts in now, people only want i110 gear and won't even bother with other endgame content. As others previously stated, I hope the need for these items die down soon lol.

Right? I much prefer FATE grinding for hours on end, and I'm sure there's other people who feel the same. Which is why SE brought hunts. That way, we aren't limited to garbage Primal fights, Main scenerio and Dungeons or even coil just to get the best gear.

The initial crush with hunts will likely die down in a while. How long, I don't know. But it will be like anything else. Think of it this way. Right now, we have about 20 weeks of soldiery under our belt. The reason for the hunt rush is to upgrade soldiery gear and the allagan tomestone weathered weapons. As people fill out their weathered soldiery gear with the upgraded version of it, they will begin to run out of things to spend sands/oils on.

After sands/oils, what is the reason for hunts? Some glamour items? Maybe alexandrite? When things start to die down, the current method many servers use for hunts will fall apart. The "hunt LS" method of banding together 100 players to scout all the zones looking for marks won't work when the amount of people needing seals dwindles.

This "rush" and "dwindling" has already happened a few times:
Release: Fates were the preferred method of leveling. There was a rush of people to nearly every fate. Until...
Patch 2.1: They made dungeons worthwhile to do. Suddenly, the only people doing Fates were DPS waiting in queue for dungeons.
Patch 2.2: Atma - every fate had a rush of people doing it for the first few weeks until everyone had their first set of 12 atma. Now, instead of there being a convoy of players to each fate, there are only a handful and they try to band together in PF, barely keeping 2-3 players in PT.

Hunts will go the same way eventually.

Yes but it won't help with duty finder and dungeons as people can get myth faster from hunts. Try being a new player and joining a dungeon queue as dps. I know dps have longer queue times but my friend waited an hour and a half for titan story mode and duty roulette is nearly as bad. I've given up trying to get my animus books done for now because of this and am leveling gathering and crafting

But then, we will always be one patch behind and always remain gimped !

In my opinion, what they should have done is only give the rewards for an actual mark obtained from the GC board, which is irrelevant as of now because you can just kill whatever, whenever, and get the same rewards.
