Suggestions for the Aesthetician!!

This is a suggestions topic i suppose, regarding ( as the title clearly states) the in game aesthetician.I was talking with some other players today and we got onto the topic of the male characters lack of customization. I feel like our online community shouldn't be so biased towards female customizations. So i would like to suggest a few changes. Maybe they can be added in as a patch specifically so people can use and learn about the aesthetician. :D

Hair?

You are asking for HAIR?

You are ignoring the basic rules of all japanese-style digital entertainment products. Hair only grows on the head, in Japan.

Unless you are a samurai. But I'm surprised there was no reverse option for hair. There are several hairstyles that would look great if the bangs were to the left instead of the right.

I want all hairstyles to be unisex! Enough of this gendered hairstyles crap! Have you seen some of the proposed male hairstyles? How is that fair?! I want that! I know some of the male character players want female styles, too! Elezen men sporting the boy cut with the long slightly curled bangs. Hot.

Why can I only hit 'like' once?

Yes please! Body hair for everyone. Not just certain races.

I'm looking for the option to "flip" or "mirror" the current hairstyles. I'm surprised this isn't an option. I have one of the hairstyles for hyur that has the little trinket in the bangs but I'd rather it be "mirrored" so that the little trinket is on the other side of my character's face. Might even post a separate thread suggesting it but not sure where it would go.

I wouldn't mind being able to adjust skin color.

as much as i would love actual tattoos, it seems that tattoos will just be connected to armor/vanity pieces, as seen on the south seas talisman, and in this chest piece on the rogue from the ninja reveal trailer

it'd b nice to have tat's that r different tho. Like tribals, non-gender or class specific tat's or maybe an option for "theme" based tattoo's. Like maybe a tattoo of skull and bones for certain achievements? i'm not rly sure tbh.

Coloured contact lenses. Why don't they exist in Eorzea? :(

I've stated this before, but I think it would be nice to choose which of the Miqo'te facial markings your character has, instead of just having them bound to face type.

Body Hair for males.

All of these are good suggestions in my humble opinion, as more variety is (almost) always a good thing (there are games that take things too far). I especially like the idea of racial/city-state tattoos, as well as tattoos being part of certain achievements. How cool would it be if you got gold on Odin or Behemoth and could then have a tattoo of them on your back or arm or something. My only concern with tattoos is I don't want to run around in underwear or something else, I main mnk, and I don't see myself fighting in a swimsuit, so they would need to design some gear that actually looks like it could be used in combat, but leaves bare arms, back, whatever for tattoos. Or allow you to glamour male characters as shirtless (for obvious reasons females would have to have some covering), which this option would even open up the placement of chest tattoos.

i would love to see a lalafell sporting long hair!! that would be soo adorable!! lalafell's r my favourite race ( even tho i play miqo'te) haha definately more please!

I'd like to see more stuff like different kind of pupils. The ability to keep one or both eyes shut. etc.

Basically, stuff that other MMOs already have.

That's what sometimes puts me off my male kitty. I love him, but he's just too twinky. He looks like a teenage boy. More muslces + body hair would be a god send.

so i guess the real question now is, how do we get our suggestions and ideas heard by GM's?

To get most ideas 'heard' I hear it takes alot of likes. That means it'd take alot of people seeing the thread to get attention.

Anything that makes elezen shoulders less prominent and look proportionate to their heads please ;_; probably hair that covers the forehead and goes down on shoulders.

see when it comes to hair i would LOVE some short non ponytail hair for female lalafells and hell maybe some messy hair similar to lightnings hair, clean hair is fine and all but sometimes some of us like a bit of mess for style, plus >.> not going against the pony tails but it seems lamas are ponytails pigtails or the rare super clean long hair
