sightseeing log #48 and #39

the one were u gotta jump on the log in north shroud and on top of the guard post in central shroud. I cannot for the life of me make these jumps...how the f*** do u get up there????

anyone have any tips?

SE should fix these or something!

I thought everybody forgot about that failure of a game content.

I tried going back to it and it's just more work than I care for to get a minion...

It took me hours of trying to get on top of that log. Then miraculously one time I got it. I then sat on that log for hours waiting for weather -_-;
#39 was also pure dumb luck but ended up being easier than the log for me.

lol. I thought ide giv it a shot sine they changed some of the weather conditions, but these 2 are totally ridiculous.

SE please make the jumps easier :)

Try using bard's swiftsong, in some cases it usually is more stable than sprinting but is also faster than jogging.

Very useful as it allows you to base your positioning with your actual character rather than a mount and it has a decent speed but
Tbh i think the only way to do the legendary log jump of faith in fallground floats is to use a mount or sprint as it requires top speed to clip into the lowest point of that near impossible to reach platform.

I do the small vertical log to the large one.

Moving back on your chocobo til you're literally glitched off the log but still 'on' it, then running the whole distance of it and jumping at the very edge.

If you cap your game-setting at 30fps, it makes it 10,000x easier too.

I tried like 500 attempts unsuccessfully, changed to 30fps then got it twice in a row with ease.

But there are people who enjoy content like this which is why they put it in.

There's actually a really easy way to get on top of that log but it took me forever to figure it out.

A hint is, don't actually aim for the log.

so I put it on 30fps and make the jump 1st try!!!! couldn't believe it.

it was pouring rain but thought ide go giv it a shot lol....well now I now ill make it easily when the right weather condition comes along
