FFXIV Gathering App??

I would love to see an app that would let me log in with my gatherer and hit some nodes when I'm away from my game at home or maybe some crafting. Is this possible or even a good idea? Feel free to tell me what you think about it.

U mean a what bots are doing 24/7...

We'll not cheating like bots but an official app from Square-Enix.

In-game botting is (imo) worse then actual botting. It's basically the company saying: We're too lazy to fight RMT so we't give EVERYBODY the tools to be like the RMT!

My idea was the person actually doing the work, just like when your gathering in the game, not setting a bot to do it for you.

I think it's called getting a 3G Vita connected to your PS4.

If your going to give smartass replies then don't bother.

It likely wouldn't be possible. Keep in mind you need to move from point to point, potentially dealing with aggro. For this reason, I doubt you could do a gathering app.

Know what would be neat? Being able to craft, tend garden plots, feed chocobos, renew ventures, and sell items. All of those don't require travel through potentially dangerous areas, and so may be able to be done on an app while maintaining balance.

Agreed, that would be beneficial and fun as well.

While this may have sounded like a smartass reply, it's exactly right. That's what Remote Play on the Vita was intended for. Do some gathering, crafting, beastman dailies, etc. Simple stuff like that.

Sure, he is right. I just didn't like the "I think is called" part. I'm a smartass so I detect it very well ;)

Yup PS Vita and a PS4 with remote play... still saving up for my vita so I can have some fun with that.
