Yeah - was thinking ther same after desynthing 6.5K of fish ...
Yes, what would you suggest for the rest of the DoH where the items cannot be stacked like fish? You suggestion gives an unfair advantage to one class over the others.
What does stacking have to do with anything? I wouldn't mind a quick desynth for those 20 hats I make at a time.
Greetings,
At this time there are no plans to introduce any type of “Quick Desynthesis” feature that would automatically desynthesize items in repetition. The amount of time to desynth an item is quite short, so we'd like players to do these one at a time.
Can we get a different animation? Right now the animation to desynth, self repair and break down into materia are all exactly the same. When I repair in a dungeon, it makes it look like I'm being a jerk and spiritbonding and breaking materia down, it's embarrassing sometimes.
The ammount of time to desynth an item MIGHT be short but when I have to sit there for 45mins after fishing for a couple hours desynthing 600 fish 1 by 1 its rather boring tiresome repetative and honestly for filler content used to pad out current content instead of generating new fresh fun content for crafters I guess its about right.
Yes please, having to send out invitations to my pity party that happens everytime I fail an overmeld is a pain. it's like dying in a game to a boss fight, and having a really long death cutscene you can't skip, it's interesting the first time, but if you have to go at a boss a few times, it gets annoying. ( keep wanting to hit escape to skip the meld fail animation, but alas...)
Why do you insist on a long grind? It doesn't keep people in the game. Look at XI - talk about a grindfest punishing game that never EVER even HIT a mil subscribers and is barely afloat now. Now look at WoW - you can craft the same item in succession automatically and somehow it didn't break their game. People still play it, a LOT more people than here (cue the WoW haters - but you can't argue with this simple fact).
Then again, they kept crafting as side jobs so the markets didn't asplode every other day as people level and capped the crafts you could learn.
I just failed over 30 melds at SUPPOSEDLY 24% chance.
This game percentages are just AWFUL LIES, it is disgusting.
I also failed 3 times in a row to desynth 3 different items with SUPPOSEDLY 86% chance. Lv70 crafted items. With 3 materias.
This is ridiculous, it is MORE OBVIOUS THAN EVER that the RNG this game has is completely broken.
Devs should be ashamed of having such stupid systems in place.
Then they come and say "ow we are not gonna change that because it would be unfair with other ppl who already suffered, it's working as intended".
B/s. To remove bees from AK and nerf fights with Echo, the devs do all they can. What about the people who had to deal with it before? This is not unfair?
This pretty much summarizes how 95% of the playerbase feels about the RNG. Why they insisted on keeping that godawful system from days of old is beyond me. I don't care how much recoding it would take, it'd be worth it for everyone concerned. Less complaints from us, less headache for them.
In what universe does 98% of any success rate mean that it should fail to produce what you expected MOST OF THE TIME.
