Content from other FF games would be nice

This is just a fun question and not sure if it was already posted. If SE had a vote on what Final Fantasy content from other games to bring into ARR what would you want it to be? (Dungeons, Bosses, FATE, Raids, character event, etc.)

I personally would like to see a Lunar Trials raid dungeon (Final Fantasy IV) it would be cool to fight all the lunar version of the summons in a Coil of bahamut type setting and get lunar gear from it but that's just a dream.:)

Honestly, the only thing that I want is the Gold Saucer and what it basically represents. During this mornings Live Letter, I smiled big when I saw that they were listing methods for players to spend their funds as a gil sink, where among all the things this game has for us to spend on, Housing related things was listed... followed by the Gold Saucer. So they're equating it as the next in-line gil sink compared to something that's 300k-50mil+. I WANT THAT TO BE TRUE. I want it to be very arcade like. I want to spend my 24mil gil on this place and go broke, asking other players for change so they can feed my addiction LOL.

I'd love to see Kefka's tower presented in a similar way to CT.

Ironically enough, from what I understand this is actually what the original FFXIV 1.0 development team (led by FFIII/FFXI producer Hiromichi Tanaka) was apparently planning Dalamud was meant to be - an actual dungeon that the player was to visit. It was only after Yoshi took over and it was decided to replace 1.0 with ARR that Yoshi decided to 'bring it down' as a way of explaining the changed maps. Basically turning FFIV's Lunar Subterrene into FFVII's Meteor. But I digress...

Anyway, FFXIV is already full of fanservice references to past FF games, and I'm quite happy to have them, being the unabashed FF fan that I am. I just want it to be in context, and not a lame Dissidia/Kingdom Hearts - style free-for-all.

Well the game is still in it's infancy so maybedown the line we may get lucky? I just hope Yoshi.P decides to give the "OK" if someone ran the idea by him and that goes for any dungeon. Anything to make the game better then it already imo

Monster Arena - Final Fantasy X

How it worked in FFX

• Run around world Capturing Monsters
• Once the monsters are caught they can be battled at any time within the arena for a fee
• Under certain conditions. New creations are bred and can be fought
• Killing and breeding for more expensive fights.

Fanatic's tower from 6. Comes equipped with pots asking for elixirs.

I think that could work along with the hunts in game atm.

You know, every time I think about it I would have loved seeing something like Blitzball in the game instead of Frontlines... or the Wolves den... or any of the other cliched pvp stuff that is basically the domain of MOBAs now. :(

You know, I'm pretty sure the Interdimensional Rift is planned at some point, largely because of the plot surrounding the Students of Baldesion (Baldesion being the family name of both King Galuf and Princess Krile from FFV, the latter of which was mentioned by name in a recent story development).

I mean, it would probably start out with The Ancient Library, then evolve into a full-scale assault on The Rift. I can just imagine how some of the Demons of the Rift fights would go. Well... except for Halicarnassus and Twintania, which are already in the game. I would expecially be excited to fight Necrophobe.

I honestly do believe blitz ball would work in this game.

If they added swimming, though I remember they chose flying instead.

So toss that idea out the window.

Wherever it is should contain an interesting bestiary of monsters for players to fight... hence why Crystal Tower chosen in the first place.

My candidate? The Lunar Subterrain/Moon Ravine from FF4. It has a host of interesting bosses you can pick and choose from (White Dragon, Plague Horror, Lunasaur, Ogopogo), and a memorable last boss who can be ported fr FFXIV's story somehow.

Hell, throw the 4 Fiends in there as well. :D

Perhaps before building Crystal Tower the ancient Allagans tried to burrow into the earth to sap power from Hydaelyn itself.

+1 to the FFX Monster Arena and the FFVIII Deep Sea Research Center!
I would love to see either of them in the game.

The Monster Arena really could be some excellent content for 1-8 players.

There are just so many ways for the Deep Sea Research Center to be amazing.
*Sigh* Now I can just sit here all sad because neither of them are in the game :'(

Yoshida already mentioned once that, once the Crystal Tower story wraps up, they would like to do another set of "classic" dungeons in the same way that the Crystal Tower currently exists - a set of dungeons heavily inspired/referential to an older FF game. And, as noted, FFV seems to also be something of a developer favourite. Several iconic bosses from V have already reappeared in some form or another (Obviously Gilgamesh, but also Twintania and Melusine appearing in the Binding Coil, etc), and there've been several other references as mentioned suggesting that we'll get an FFV-referencing dungeon in the future.

Which I am so down with. Being intimately familiar with V, I can envision a lot of really amazing boss fights, because V already had some fantastic boss designs with interesting mechanics (especially for its era)

Dynamis from FFXI. Not just for the content, but for the drama it created.

Sorry, they messed up the Mark Hunt from FFXII which was near impossible to mess up, i don`t want to see any "system" of others FF being remade here for the sake of good memories. Keep doing just references, stop ruining content, stop messing up.
