Suggestion: Add Duty roulette: Trials extreme

See topic title. Hopefully this will decrease wait time for things like thornmarch extreme. Not sure what the rewards should be, maybe add a couple of allied seals.

I'm not sure how much it would help unless the rewards were pretty stellar. A lot of people already have every drop they want (if not every drop period) from these and so don't do them. I'll occasionally join PF groups to help out, but even a lot of those fail even we the "bonus" of echo buff. Imagine how much more likely it is for a DF party to fail at this. I still see multiple DF groups fail Titan HM and that can easily be 3-manned by 1 each of a geared dps, healer, and tank.

I'm certainly not opposed to the idea of this being added, but given that the hunts have already made roulettes less attractive of an option, as I said, I don't know if it would help wait times at all. That's my own thoughts anyway.

Unless the rouleete automatically maxes out your Myth in one go, it wouldn't be worth the time to run.

Also, unlike the other roulette's, the skill level between Extreme primals is absurdly wide.

And, finally, I'd rather pull my ball hair out with a pair of uranium tweezers that have been coated in napalm then DF Thornmarch Extreme, let alone having it ambush me in a roulette.

You wouldn't have to run it...

I think that's a good idea, sometimes I just join extremes on DF for fun, especially Titan.

If good reward it maybe very good idea , also it may help more players clear old content to match up current one

The reward would have to be outrageous to see much of the playerbase join consistently. Perhaps 300-500 myth for the daily. Otherwise most players will just skip it

Suggestion of suggestion:

Rename it from Duty roulette: Trials (extreme) to Russian roulette.

Levi EX (and maybe Garuda EX): 'yay'
Anything else: (dead)

You guys do know SE has already said this is coming eventually?

I run Trials roulette just about every day, because the fights aren't so bad, kinda fun, and I can get some decent rewards for a little bit of time.

EX are some of the most un-fun content introduced in a game I've ever played. And considering how people still struggle on Titan EX this is just a terrible idea. Honestly for even seasoned players it would take a whole day of constantly wiping to finally get a win. I just don't see this ending well if people even did it to begin with.

The point of this IS to help players getting through EX primals, not just for the rewards. If you think it's a waste of time you can simply just ignore it, no one is forcing you to do it. Also, fun is just subjective.

The extreme primals would need a 10% echo buff per wipe first.

I think some people are missing the fact that in order to unlock the roulette you have to have first cleared them. So to say this would help people get caught up on content doesn't really make sense.

What are you talking about? Players going in with roulette doesn't mean all the players in the dungeon/trial was using the roulette.
New players can simply be joining a dungeon/trial, and still met players using the roulette.

Do you even know how roulette works?

This would immediately turn in to people queuing for roulette and then insisting on a vote abandon or asking to be kicked when it isn't Levi or Garuda EX.

The success rates on this roulette would be abysmally low, as well.

Well, rather than a daily one, how about doing this as a weekly, with a decent myth/sol/allied seals reward.
Heck, even let players choose WHICH of those rewards they would prefer, and adjust numers in consideration.

If there ever will be an EX Trial roulette they better call it Carry Roulette. It is hard enough to find a good group in Party Finder. Even if they are called weekly or Kill party, most of the time they aren't. Even with such premade groups, the quitting will from some people is strong. Don't wanna have these folks in a Trials where they first complain because it is not their favourite Trial or see them quitting after the 1st wipe. SE made the Ex fights quite unforgiving and so are many players. Bad combination. I guess there are a lot of ways to get tomes much quicker than this.

Tomes aren't the issue, it practically rains them in Eorzea now. It's more of an issue of helping newer players get through old content, which is already farmed out to death by older players, therefore not many people running it.

they should just do a Roulette that is completely random that give high rewards, cuz a lot of ppl needs help clearing stuff but how the hell am i supposed to know where? dungeon?trials?coils? idk so a random Roulette that puts you anywhere that help is needed would be fun and i would personally do it all the time :) lol
