Glamour requests

Random topic for new things y'all wanna see in the game for Glamours

Me? I wanna see some traditional Japanese outfits. Like full kimonos.

I just want to be able to glamour the Hunt GC gear during Frontlines. Seriously. I'm supposed to dash off to war in the name of the Maelstrom and you won't even let me don my colors? Boo!

I'd like a one-piece swimsuit, but I guess that'd be some double slot body-and-legs gear that you couldn't glamour onto anything. :(

So, I'd settle for more types of skirts with stockings and more casual shoes/boots. I guess I want more "parts" of outfits rather than a particular outfit.

Yukutas were available in version 1.0 as part of the second Moonfire Faire (summer) event in 2012, and are rumoured to be returning for this year's summer event as well, which is expected to be occurring sometime next month. Don't worry, my bf is also eagerly awaiting these (we got the 2011 swimwear but missed out on the yukutas). New glamourable gear is always good (more trenchcoat-looking gear for the guys like Snow's FFXIII coat and more formal ballgowns along the lines of the Spring Dress for ladies is what I'd love to see more of.) :)

I'd love to see more pirate/corsair themed gear, provided it isn't insanely hard/expensive to craft. I mean the new shades/swim suits/sandals are lovely but they are more expensive than lvl 4 materia and ilvl 90 gear combined and that just doesn't sit right with me.

Skirts! More skirts yes please!

And ribbons!

and butterflies!

And maybe hair accessories in an extra only glamour slot?

There are so many things I want and I love it that they keep adding glamour stuff each big update

I want square to get creative with skirts

slits, half drapes and such, so far these have only been attached to chest armors, or robes

I totally agree!
They coiuld use the model for Miqote starting skirt but with different colours, or even making a similar skirt that is dyeable cause that skirt looks really good to a lot of outfits.
And yeah let's hope we get it someday, they are starting to make really nice outfits imo (like the monk gear from the new dungeons looks amazing)

Ball gowns, evening gowns, formal wear in general. :D

And heels. Even just two or three inches.

Honestly I'd be happy with a skirt that doesn't make my toon look like an ul'dahn hooker. The spring skirt was nice now something more, but seriously holy crap why all the teeny tiny stuff?

Something with spangles :)

I'd like more accessory and earring options. Studs, perhaps?

I'd love some knee length dresses/skirts. Most skirts are either to the ankle, or way too short.

But not as loose/poofy as the spring set.

Miqo'te loincloth for all other races, better tops, I want the Foestriker's Tabard cut off and removed from the waist down, the top half made into a shirt that I can mix/match with other clothes. Better textures for hair is a must. Skirts, skirts, and more skirts. Less trash bag poor person clothes that don't match. The ability to hide my fist weapons so I can punch with my fists.

In theory you could probably make that one piece in two pieces. It would be odd to think of it in real life as two pieces, but for just attaching graphics to a 3D model it is not an issue. You'd even be able to make combos like Strike Witches bottom one piece and top shirt.

But yea, SE would probably never get that idea on their own so we are entirely left to the moderators around here to pick the idea up and pass it on if they liked it themselves.

Kimonos, Cheongsams, more skirts would be nice, I'd love if I could make an outfit similar to Yang's from rwby (or any of the rwby character outfits), bring some of the outfits from other FF games. Like Rikku's, Yuna's, Rinoa, etc. Brought lightning and snow's outfit for that one event. So hopefully that may happen. I love making outfits in this game..but right now I just feel so limited..

I'd like the ability to hide my weapons even during combat, or be able to glamour them into some kind of handwraps or something.

So much this. I love the color of the animus glow. I almost don't wanna upgrade to novus cause it's so ugly and I like the animus more than anything else that is available to glamour.

An unarmed or hand wrap weapon for Mnk

Some lighter heavy armor if that makes any sense. A mi'quote should not be going into a fight wearing a hundred lbs of dark steel. I know we have scale armors available but I just don't like the look of em. =/

Make the Odin armor actually useful for Glamor! Sometimes SE surprises me with just how bone headed they can be. Here's the only heavy armor set with any personality of it's own and they make is useless beyond getting lucky and having it when you first hit 50.

And I know it's not glamor related but some real frickin beards for Highlanders and a name change function.

I have wanted to be able to combine my glasses with other headwear, such as hats, but I think that would be too difficult to implement.

For the love of all that is holy, handwraps as fist weapons for monks. Claws are the only ones that make any sense in this game, everything is way to huge and not.... monkish!

If hand wraps are too much at least some form fitting Cestus or boxing gloves for the lols.

I just also thought of, I'd like more dyes. Like that give a glittery sheen or metallic texture. Would save a lot of tanks from looking like crayons lol. And also neons, glow-in-the-dark, or opalescent colors as well.

You know, I saw a thread awhile back about wanting to wear other race's underwear, the hampten stuff. I would also like to wear the other race's starting gear. Like the hyur and roe's females have some nice stuff.... though blow up a Lalafell's outfit and put it on a roe (Male or female) and then things would get quite interesting.

You can get pretty close to the full kimono look with a spring skirt. Other than a small issue with skirts and dresses, it looks pretty great.

Hopefully we'll see a return of the kimonos at this summer event, since the swimsuits from the patch turned out to be craftable.

Honestly I'd just settle for being able to glamour my old white woolen cowl on my SMN/BLM gear...

gas masks and/or Garlean themed armor like Gaius, Livia, etc.

I would die for stockings like the ones from the blm sol gear. Only other stocking stuff I know is from the valentine's day event but that's unobtainable now :/
Also some more dresses and longer skirts and I'd also like the kimono idea.
My fave would be animal like gear like the new PVP stuff, for example a wolfhead as hat, shoulders coated with fur, some wings, claws (not only for monks as weapons) or 'hats' that looks like anubis' ears.
I like to go barbarian style in so many games if I have the possibilitys to do so, all I can do now is to either look like a well mannered Lady or a slut. I can't see these thousands of spring dresses anymore q__q
