No idea how anyone can afford these so quickly O.o

They are the items from hunts allied marks right? They just use that app radar thing and have themselves and some friends run around zones. They easily get every NM that's up this way. It shows the name right on their map apparently where it is.

They're just really good at hunts, really.

It's obviously a troll to the whole community :p no one would be enough crazy to come here and show a full allied seal set like that while not waiting for some pitchforks and flames in return xD specially with the huge radar-cheats discuss all around.

I like how everyone successful at hunts *must* be a cheater. Those radar apps (and it's like this for every MMO they're in) just save you some camera spinning. They only have visual range.

The part about coordinating with friends, however, is probably spot on. And that's the point of hunts. Search for the mobs and try to find them before others do. More eyes help, keeping track of time of deaths also helps.

Why do people keep taking glamour photos at night? Can't see anything... or at least no details. :(

I'm not saying they specifically are cheating, however someone with that many points already is most likely using the app. Also if you don't think running along while only watching names pop on your map is somehow infinitely fucking faster then having to actually look through all mobs all around you then you have a brain defect.

** Edit * also I saw that screenshot in the post where it showed the radar on a map, that's a huge range. Its not like looking right next to you at all. Having found a few hunts myself, as intended is pretty fun. But these cheating pricks that use this need to be banned. Fuck them.

NA servers like Gilgamesh cheats doesn't mean we at Tonberry cheat thou. Of cos I can't speak for everyone - but our FC and our teams comb maps and earn our legit seals. We keep track of mob's death times and spawn locations to assist to hunt then down when they are due for respawn.

Doesn't even take brains for simple stuff like this to even try to use the radar app.

Thanks for understanding what we legit hunters do. I didn't start this thread because I wanted to troll, but for people to share their joy of finally earning a piece or a set of their favourite GC Elite gears.

I saw the Immortal Flames mage gear and made me want to switch to it, but once I saw the cost for it I got very discouraged.
So congrats to anyone who got it (but not to ppl who use this app people keep talking about lol >_>)

I'll probably just wait till there is other ways to get Allied Seals, Hunts seem like it'll be impossible to do with everyone doing it.

I think there should be some hunt scholars wearing them, should check them out probably.

The screenshot with the map overlay is misleading, it's only positioned in such a way that it looks more effective than it really is.
It does not actually put the marks' position on the map.

The radar can only detect as far as your draw distance.

Note: I do not condone the use of the radar, and I do feel that users should be punished. There's just a lot of misconceptions about its effectiveness.

It depends actually... if the radar is the FFXIV app version, or the "other" ones. I strongly believe those that got caught are not users of the app, or rather, a unrefined radar. There are more then 1 ways to skin a cat.

I think it is good to keep the talk about the radar and its use-age out of this thread though :)
