So why don't crafters have LBs?

I want there to be a solo LB meter for crafter classes. Craft stuff and it fills up, and you can use it to instant-HQ a craft, or something like that.

Oh and make it a skill you have to learn from Godbert.

Here's why a crafting LB won't work, period. As you'll soon see through crafting, it's not needed. You have all the tools to at your disposal to get your HQ items, and the fact that high tier recipes HAVE to have a form of RNG so that the market isn't flooded with high level craft-able items, thus, losing their value. Not only that, but how would you implement it? Could you imagine doing 100 lvl 1 recipes to build up a LB bar and then use it on a lvl 90 item all at once? I can promise you it would be exploited that way, or get an item that's easy to craft due to easy to get materials and BAM, master crafter recipe LBed for HQ result. That's a broken system. Also keep in mind LBs have their own restrictions. They have to be built up, in a party, through multiple people's efforts, accessible to only the members of said party, once, before having to be rebuilt over time through many actions. There is no solo limit break, period.

It's a nice idea to have some kind of limit break, but I think instant HQ is a terrible idea. It would undervalue an already undervalued market that people can HQ the hardest synth with nary a thought except pressing limit break.

The only thought I've had somewhat along these lines is that it would be nice to have a "bad beat" jackpot for crafts that NQ when > 90% or something. It wouldn't have to be anything crazy, maybe just applying to master crafts even. All failed HQ crafts when > 90% put the crystals/clusters used in the craft into a pool. The next HQ fail at 98% on the server gets the lot.

I like your idea krafty but people will just sabotage there crafts in the hopes of getting a lot of shards crystals clusters.

and it wouldn't cost them anything to do it either. first item in any class craft list bang fail.. did I get the jackpot.?? no ill try in an hour.

and that could be done at any level craft including master craft.. there's to many cheap synths to try your luck on.

If they add something like crafting for a while to build up an LB, then it's going to start becoming required to make stuff. Do you want that? I don't. Byregot's and Excellent status are the closest we have to an LB, and those are more than enough for that sort of thing.
