How to clean Chocobo stable w/o Magicked Broom Brush?

In order to make this Magicked Broom the mats nearly cost over 2mil total not to mention it being a 2 star craft. If we try to buy 1 on the market it's 100k and we have to clean the stable very often. It'd be cheaper to just buy a new stable for 125k and replace it with a dirty poor condition...unless is there a way to clean the stable without this item?

my question is. is fair condition the max or does it go to good?

the reason i ask is when i first got my stable is was fair i trained my chocobo and got 7.5k exp. now the stable is poor and i get 5.5k exp. the drop isn't much and you can easily ignore cleaning it seeing the drop in exp isn't that big and it would be a whole lot cheaper.

It goes to good. When condition is good, the stables "sparkle."

Yes there is good condition. The stable starts to sparkle at that point and can't be cleaned again until condition decreases.

You need the stable broom not the magicked broom (which is just a minion). The stable broom sells for about 200k and can be crafted for less.

hmm so you think the exp would be like double poor rank and 25% better then fair? or maybe 50%?

i am just wondering about the exp. i am also no sure if it's affected by chocobo rank. like good could be 10k fair could be 7.5 then poor is 5k. (just an example)

rank 9 Chocobo in Fair gets about 9.8k from training

o_O You must have a lot of high end gardeners on your server if you can craft the brooms for less than 200k. The broombush alone costs 1-1.5mil on Leviathan.

1 synth makes 20 brooms so several crafters are charging an arm and leg regardless.

I guess everyone will have poop-filled stables forever. Also at normal I was only getting 2.5k exp...

Yep, any crafters that have ready access to the materials and the pattern will sell the materials AND the finished craft at some pretty ridiculous mark ups until more crafters and gardeners can get easier access to the mats. Unfortunately that means any FC that doesn't have a 2/3* crafter and an FC House are gated out of being able to Raise Chocobos at this point and time.

prices on servers are dependent on overall population and how old the server is. shiva is about the same with the 200k price the last time I looked, but compared to a legacy server everything is ridiculously expensive.

The only way I can imagine not spending 2mil is just throwing out the stable and buying a new one for 125k. At least with that price we can maintain "Fair" condition for a little while.

I get the feeling I already know the answer, but is the broom expended upon use? I'm, however slightly, holding out the hope that the reason the recipe is for 20 brooms is so that you can distribute them among your free company and not because they're a one time item :x

They're consumed, one per condition level (ie if you use one at Poor it moves the condition to Fair).

Thanks for the info Mitternacht! At least I can now abandon all hope lol Does anyone have any info on how long it takes for the stable's condition to deteriorate?

A day? o_o So it has nothing to do with how many times you train a Chocobo? Have to confess, maintaining the chocobo stable's cleanliness is...not my favorite thing o.<

You get a chocobo stable and use it only when your chocobo is ready to up a rank. the rest, challenge log gives 180 000 xp per week at Rank 9, plus the 100 kills if alone is about 20 k for lvl 48+ mobs = 200 000 xp per week, if you don't use it more than that.

The power of a stable comes from your FC mates, if they have unlimited krakka or any food, and they would all train your chocobo, once per hour. As someone stated, 9 600 xp per shot, times 10 for example, per hour, would make it efficient, and that's only on fair conditions, not good.

I haven't test if the FC actions 15% counts towards this, since they don't kill anything.

But with a large population, the more you train, it gets dirty faster, and requires brooms..

Agreed you have 20 of these once complete, but 125 k for a complete new stable, good for a few days, versus brooms, good for a few days..

we'll see I guess.

For now, I am more concerned about these Thavnairian Onions..

exp is rated by stable condition and chocobo actual rank
