What do we know about patch 1.19?

From what I've read, and tell me if any of this is wrong or simply an assumption, is the following:

-Removal of physical levels
-Chocobos are being implemented
-Airships are also being implemented as well
- Larger settlements of the beastman persuasion
- higher ranked missions for grand companies (i guess we might even get higher ranked items)?
- Materia system? Not sure if this was confirmed for 1.19
- Job system? I read that each class will have at least one job when this new system launches. Is this supposed to start with 1.19?
- Hopefully some tweaks to the MP cost for certain spells >_>

Late August launch? That's what I've been hearing. I rarely come to these forums, so idk what's been confirmed.

Job system 1.21+

Combat animation revamp
Physical level removal
Stats+damage revamp
Item revamp
Materia system
Ifrit battle
Further class revamp (skills redistribution, retweaking based on new stat algorithms)
Beastman strongholds
Rental chocobos ,possibly escorts .airships.

Yeah, I think that sums up 1.19.

so wait there getting rid of the physical lvl's?

So wait, no Chocobos or airships or are you saying the things I mentioned along with the things you mentioned (and deducted from my list) are going to be included with 1.19? Or is it just the stuff you mentioned?

Yeah, there will only be ranks now and you'll gain stat boosts every time you rank up. Not sure if you have to distribute points or if it will be automatic distribution among your stats.

From what I'm understanding, there will be an automatic point distribution when you rank up, but you'll also gain a small pool of points that you can allocate to whatever, and they'll actually have some kind of effect as opposed to the broken physical level thing.

And so far yes, chocobos and airships are confirmed for patch 1.19.

Thanks for clearing that up, guys. But yeah, physical levels seem very useless. It seems like the only stats that have any kind of effect are VIT, MND, and STR (I had to pump a lot of points into this to actually see a small difference). I'm just glad I no longer have to redistribute stat points when I want to main a class for a while...though it'll suck to start with barely any HP with my lower rank classes. I'm sure I'll get over it :)

Don't forget that there's going to be recipe overhauls in 1.19. I know in particular they're going to streamline some things, such as reducing the amount of clutter you need to keep around for dying stuff. That's a major change I'm looking forward to.

For some reason I think jumping is also supposed to come in patch 1.19 as well. I can't remember if was something a dev actually confirmed or if it was just someone's speculation.

Class is what we have now, Jobs will be a specialization thereof. Now I need to dig up the detailed post they made a long time ago. . .

2: Airships are being added from cities to the each cities level 1 levecamp
3: All items are getting converted into crystals
4: There will be a new undefeatable boss added called Chuck
5: All bots will be given Mog houses
6: Yoshi P will get replaced by a turkey sandwich
7: Ifrit beanie babies will be offered for sale
8: Ice skating will be implemented
9: all regions except the black shroud will be deleted

Looks like Chocobos won't be the only mounts.

It's a shame that it's taken them so long to implement Chocobos, something that should of been in the game since launch. All the things that are coming look great, but it's a same to think this game will of been out for a whole year soon and we are basically still in beta. :/

Pretty much. However, after the game has been out for a year, at least it will be where it was supposed to be at launch. At least that what it's starting to look like.
