Did they change something with pets again?

When I command Eos to use Whispering Dawn she keeps auto healing. Prior to 2.3 she'd auto heal then stop auto healing use the skin then go back to auto. Something happen?

I'm not sure if she's auto-healing or not, but I've noticed Eos is extremely unresponsive after the patch. This caused me problems on turn 8, I was having a lot of difficulty popping cooldowns for the AoE tower exploding, sometimes Fey covenant just wasn't going off at all. I was having to repeatedly to press the keybind and just hope it was going to go off. (I say press, I was aggressively slamming my finnger into the numpad and yelling at it to effin well work!)

Smn in our FC says he's also having problems, especially with enkindle (I think)

Someone did submit a Bug Report that was accepted as a bug. The pets are really glitching out for sure. Half the time my Contagion wont go off even while spamming it.

summoner pets are just as unresponsive (have to keep smashing contagion) so yea there's definitely issues.

Yup also confirming contagion, pressed several times none of them went off

Totally agree with this. I have a Rouse/Whispering Dawn macro that worked about 90% of the time, now it seems to work about 60% of the time.

Enkindle went from about a 80% success rate, down to about 40-50%. I hope they fix this in a hotfix.

Both Eos and Selene refuse to cooperate.

This was always a problem. It's just now this problem affects every ability but doesn't waste cooldowns.

I was pulling my hair with this issue during coil the last few nights. Would hit my contagion button in T6 and a little bit later I'd notice my DoTs dropping off and saw my Contagion didn't actually go off. Now I'm spamming my button when before I'd only have to press once and it still yields little result

Whats happening is that pet commands are no longer queueing.

Before, if Garuda was casting Wind Blade and you hit Contagion, the move would "queue up" and Garuda would cast it on the next available GCD, without further input. Now the input just comes back as a command error unless you press it in between pet GCDs.

So to use Whispering Darn you have to hit it during that split second when Eos isn't doing anything in between Embraces. Same for Contagion, you have to hit it in the gap between Wind Blades or it won't register.

You need moar badges! Otherwise it won't listen to you.

I thought I was the only one having this issue with my pets. Thought it might have been a lag issue and my macros weren't connecting to the server correctly...hmm. I spammed them several times and nothing would come out.

I noticed Eos skipping actions myself. Which was annoying as I was running titan hm for my sch relic at the time.

I noticed this on T4 tonight, I really hope they fix it soon.

As per this thread, the latest hot fix hopefully adjusted it:

- An issue wherein players were unable to use pet actions when a pet was casting a spell.

It did fix the issue

Yay! It was very, very, VERY annoying. Glad it's fixed :)

I dunno.. I don't get the error messages anymore but eos still refuses to use any skills until embrace is fully finished (which is when it's ready to use again oh boy), even after the supposed fix.

The issue is that pets weren't queuing skills. So if I hit WD while Embrace was casting, Eos would derp out and ignore my command. What you're experiencing is how it's supposed to be where WD (or w/e skill you're using) casts after the current cast

So glad this has been fixed. I was getting annoyed with Eos and Garuda wasting Whispering Dawn/Enkindle and the casts not going off.

I know, that's exactly the problem, I just didn't word it accurately enough. If I give the command for whispering dawn for example, and eos is still in the middle of embrace, it DOESN'T queue. Nothing happens at all. The behaviour today is identical to before today's hotfix, just with no error anymore.

Then that's strange. SCH today played like butter for me
