Regular Marks are a waste of time

They give a tiny amount of gil and only 1 or 2 allied seals, and to my knowledge they don't even drop Books or Time stuff. I know people are going on about how the Elite Marks have their problems, which they certainly do, but the fact that this is supposed to supplement it is the vinegar in the wound. They seriously need to increase the rewards for doing these.

And two of them every day happen to be FATE bosses. Wouldja lookat dat.

The purpose of the regular marks is to get people out in the world. Enough people doing them will eventually lead to an Elite mark find.

Also work to build to an achievement.

seems to be failing that purpose. the only thing getting people out right now are Elite Marks.

I would increase the rewards a little....like 2 seals for normal mobs, 3 for FATE NMs = 12 seals a day...one Alex every 15 days, less if you happen to come across and elite mark

Normal marks should at least reward 3-5 seals each.

I agree. During E3/Live letters they described the daily and weekly hunts as an alternative for those that don't have the time to go after lots of hunts, but still gain seals in an adequate fashion. These rewards don't seem up to par for that description.

They are pointless. Did it twice, not bothering anymore. The time you waste teleporting, going to the place, two of them are always fate mobs, have to wait 30 min sometimes. During that time you can get much more seals farming random nms with a party.

Yes, if you purposefully go after the normal marks it's a huge waste of time, that was the exact impression that I got when I went after them on the first day. The FATE boss marks just make it even worse. Basically it's a waste of time.

I currently just treat them as a little bonus I can get if I happen to be in the area. That's how I believe they should be treated in their current form.

So you're doing all your Daily Marks then? Since it's so wonderfully incentivized and allows you to easily find an Elite Mark, right?
