With The Hunt, every time an elite mark appears in a zone it is dead within seconds. Are there any plans to adjust or scale monsters HP, spawn times or spawn locations?

(The below I added today 7-12, in the hope of increasing awareness and visibility to our beloved moderators)

With the implementation of hunts, people who use third party software have again gained another advantage. This is detailed here, http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ir-Take-a-look. Respectfully, Yoshida's response regarding third party tools has been disappointing. This continues to break the game for playstation players, and anyone morally against cheating, making it near impossible to get a claim on a mark. If you continue to turn a blind eye to these violations of ToS do you think players on these platforms will continue to support the game?

I have been playing since 1.0 CE early release. I felled the white raven and successfully tanked Ifrit extreme in 1.0. This is my favorite pass time. Please stop condoning cheating through inaction. Give add ons to level the playing field or adjust the content.

In regards to personal chambers, it is frustrating getting ejected to the front lawn after every instance. Can you adjust them to function more like the Inn rooms? Being able to log out through our beds like the inn room would be nice too!

The new chocobo stables and training system are great ideas !

But if feels like the xp for training is way too low ! only 3.5k xp for a lvl 6 choco that requires 500k to level up, that's about ~140 trainings needed
-> 140 hours for a level up !

Is there any ajustments planned for the chocobo training system ?
Replacing the training cutscenes by mini games were you could actually interact with your chocobo would also be great !

The implementation of Monster Hunts was a much anticipated system, but seems to have stumbled out of the gate. We either need more rank B marks with reduced rewards or shorter spawn times with reduced rewards. Rank A marks need their difficulty scaled up, spawn times increased and rewards reduced. Rank S marks need to be scaled way up in difficulty.

Are there any plans to make chocobo raising food available through GC seals, gil, ventures, leve's, or some other system to ease the load on gardening. As it is it is exceedingly difficult to produce supply of food to meet demand within an FC much less the server at large. The broom likewise seems to be a huge deterrent requiring 3 star materials and crafting for something that is disposable.

Are the allied seal shops balanced as intended? Seems unreasonable that i70 gear would be more allied marks than the means to get i110 gear. The oportunity cost of what is in effect vanity gear is incredibly high. 200 seals for alexandrite(10 rank A full credit kills) does not seem a bad basis. 1000 allied seals(<19 S rank full credit or 50 A rank full credit) for an i70 chest piece seems excessive.

Hunts are overpopulated. Are there any plans to:

a) Scale the HP of Hunt Mobs based on the people hitting them/near to them?

b) Give a reward to someone finding/spawning them; but still allowing others to take part in killing them?

Crafted Jewelry;

1) Why is the recipe for the Jewelry so much more expensive compared to the armour pieces (in particular, the waist piece which has the same stat caps)

2) Why is there only one secondary stat on the jewelry?

The reward for daily hunts is very low and it seems like players time would be better spent doing elites, are there any plans to adjust the reward for daily hunts?

Will morale be part of frontlines or will PVP gear stay merely as decorative?

Will you ever consider adding an armoire to housing or to private chambers? It seems silly to have to go to an inn just to access your armoire with such a great housing system in place.

A lot of small free companies were locked out of chocobo raising and private room contents because of the poor amount of wards, and a lot of FC houses are in the hands of free companies formed by 1 person. Will this be addressed?

Are there plans to help friends from different Grand Companies play Frontlines together, or at least make PVP rank not be lost upon switching Grand Companies?


Context: I would very much like to play Frontlines with my close friends and FCmates, but they're in different GCs than me. I would switch GCs to play with them, but the loss of PVP rank is the only loss I can't bring myself to do since I've spent hours throughout weeks of combat bringing up my PVP rank, and I'm sure others feel the same. Every other loss upon switching seems reasonable, but the loss of PVP rank seems much too severe in comparison.

From a gameplay perspective, it's beneficial to have friends play Frontlines together since that reinforces the bond players have with their friends in the game that makes people stay attached to the game. If anything, it would be great if everyone in the same party was temporarily put in the party leader's GC so they could all do Frontlines together.

Where is the hug emote, the slap emote, the armoire (For FC houses), the grand company rank increase quest, us being able to pre make alliances? All of this was promoted to be in 2.3 and yet I cannot seem to find any of it in the patch notes.

Where is all the new long hairstyles everyone was asking for?

Are there any plans to adjust the materials required for the Augmented Artifact armor? It seems very high at the moment, to the point where it seems like a lot of people are just giving up on the idea altogether.

is there any chance that the leftmost hairstyle can be given to Miqo'te?

Do you feel 7 AS a day reflects a reasonable pace for the casual player when rewards cost in the hundreds?

With the introduction of the new nodes mining/gathering the lack of GP is an issue specially because MIN BOT share it, we all leveled and geared those Jobs individually so it doesnt seem far to limit our well earn effort to just one Job or forcing players to buy cordials in order to balance it a little bit.

Where are our missing 1.0 titles?

Will everything about the crystal tower be always lower than what the players can actually be, gear-wise, every patch?

To get inside with iLvl100 and beat it on the first try, although it's beautiful, lots of mechanics are same stuff than Labyrinth with some new effects added, are not what we could expect from patches over the launch of the game, which should be progressive?

Will the next floors of the tower give a real challenge to 24 people?

Will the hullbreaker isle open up to players that have beat it so that we may explore and do stuff like fishing and the sightseeing log and do the hunts there as well, even if we can only access the isle at certain time of day because of the mist we can pay a npc to take us there while the mist is cleared for him/her to safely land there boat and we can stay there in till we want to leave by ether the return option or teleport.

Would it be possible to get a system to FC housing that allows us to move the entrance to private chambers to a different location or hide it completely from settings?
At its current state the door looks very unpleasant especially in a small house as it's covering a large part of the wall and you can't really cover it up with furniture either. The door is one of the first things you see when entering the house. We would very much prefer to hide the entrance to private chambers into the stairway.

Will the frequency of crafting mats dropping from the last boss' chest in dungeons be reduced?

I thought chocobo training would involve actual gameplay instead of a cutscene. Are you going to implement any minigames to chocobo raising in the future?

A number of my friends that primarily play Black Mages had mixed feelings about the changes made to Thaumaturgs and Black Mages this last patch. While the increased potency of Fire, Fire III, Blizzard, and Blizzard III were very nice, they felt it didn't solve their ability to keep their damage up while needing to deal with movement-heavy mechanics, and one expressed great displeasure at the loss of being able to constantly cast Flare (then again, he's also kinda weird with his obsession with Flare's damage output).

Many Black Mages feel the best answer to this problem would be to allow Thundercloud and Firestarter procs to stack. What do you think about this idea?

Will there be any chance that fish being desynthized that they will have a chance to produce Fieldcraft demimateria instead of clear? The rate at which you obtain clear demi is so low it really isn't helpful.

Whats with every race but highlander getting shafted from the Dread Hairstyle? Even Female Roe cant have it, and that just seems silly. We dont want race-exclusive hairstyles we want hairstyles for EVERY race.

Currently PVP gear is absolutely worthless in frontlines (in fact it hinders you). Are there any plans to develop pvp gear that works within frontlines. As it stands while PVP is fun I would really enjoy a progression-based pvp gear system.

Also, any chance Lala's can get hairstyle thats on the Miqo'te in the 4th pic. Was very disappointed when I found out it was'nt for them. Thats the 1st thing I tried to do when i logged into 2.3.

Any chance to nerf the Atma drops from FATEs so you can make any players feel more bit easier than ending up spending of hours and hours being endless trying to get the Atma drop that WILL NOT drop at all.

Lalafell males got that hairstyle, as all males of every race. The 2nd and 4th picture are the crossover hairstyle all races get from one race (Elezen this patch) every big patch.

I love patch 2.3 :), how have you developers been enjoying it?

Can you please enable an option in rank to disable FC chat?

The recent worries of FC leaders not being able to remove bad players just because they bought a personal room is very alarming and brought a lot of troubles.

Can we please enter Frontlines under our Free Company allegiance? This way, all of an FC can play together regardless of rank.

(Even if this affects Frontlines as a whole and is imbalanced, please allow private FreeCompany-only instance to let FC players be divided up would be wonderful)

I appreciate the addition of crafting materials to treasure chests in the last two sets of new instances (potash, peacock ore, etc.), as it is nice to have another source for them aside from company seals. But it is beyond frustrating when you are trying to get specific pieces of gear to use, either for glamour or as an upgrade. This is especially true as it seems like the crafting pieces drop more than the gear does.

Would it be possible to have a primary chest that drops gear and have a chance for a secondary chest that contains these crafting materials?

Are there plans to increase the time of the hunts?

With the addition of the ninja class in the 2.4 patch will there be any way for the class to obtain a final fantasy XII weapon? Namely noel's weapons. As Every other class has a final fantasy XII weapon.

Btw this is just a fancy way of me asking for the lightning strikes event to return, yet again. >_> (want me that snow hairstyle)

Can we get the option to turn off the battle soundtrack like the mount soundtrack if we want? Also, can we get an option to turn on the music at night, or are you planning some unique night music already?
