It takes a lot less time to identify a player's class by looks than it does to read each and every tag above the players' heads. No thanks.
man thats all i fucking want, glamour in pvp u dont even know how bad my ilvl 100 dragoon gear looks its just horrible i hope we can make them change their mind i really do and i dont see why it shouldnt be possible
I think you're forgetting that some classes also wear the same gear anyways. Casters, Healers, Tanks, and some DPS share outfits<.<. So if you're really going off of gear alone and not what skills they're using and the giant
>>>BLACK MAGE<<<
above their head, you might run into some issues O _ O;.
glamour pls kthx :D
When people are bunched together you can't rely on names at all. Gears are still the best way to pick out players, it needs to stay that way.
i think you can tell a class by their weapons and the names, since some gear repeats , SCH WHM, BLM SMN, WAR PLD...
At the very least, allow us to glamour our stuff with the freaking PVP gear! I just think it's straight ridiculous that once I hit 40 I won't be able to use my Hawkwing gear or even glamour it!
This is my only gripe. The difference between and i70 and i80 is so minimal people won't have enough time to say "focus this guy down, he had crap gear".
I am upset because once I get the new GC elite gear, I can't wear it there without nerfing myself :(
Hogwash. The tag is the VERY FIRST thing I read when I look around for targets. People move around too much to reliably tell what they're wearing in any case.
Plus, since PvP gear is literally detrimental in Frontlines, its only use is to BE glamour'd on top of better gear. As it is, you're literally gimping yourself by wearing PvP gear in Frontlines, and since you can't glamour it onto anything else, it will never be used. Pretty freakin' stupid if you ask me.
