It's fun with Frontline, but so bore with "withdraw"

Frontline is so fun, But I need to complain

1. Why you fix GC to party?
I know it sbout story and lore of the game but I don't know this before. and cause Frontline, we must pay 50,000Gil for change GC for what?
Why you don't create "Color of 3 group" in Frontline by ignore GC?

2. "withdraw player"
It nonsense that 60+ player fail to enter Frontline cause 1 or 2 people withdraw or wait time to enter Frontline til automatic withdraw

2.1 I recommend that if 65 people "Commence" to Frontline, they can go into Frontline, and system find new players to enter again by tell them "in progress" If they OK they can go in, If they not OK, find new player

2.2 Automatic Enter Frontline
If someone use Duty Finder to go Frontline, If system get full party, and wait time to enter til 0, they must automatic enter, Ignore them craft item, kill monster, or do anything cause I think if they use Duty Finder they must accept that they ready to go

You want to spam and have the time of your life on this awesome new content but the withdrawals are making it impossible. Maybe this is SE's way of making sure we don't break frontlines with massive zerg-rushes in the DF... well played SE, well played...

I did it once and already I'm ready for an auto-commence option.

Also the popup IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAMN SCREEN cannot be moved and it obstructs anything you might be doing. Usually it's not a big deal since people commence rather quickly but here you'll be looking up to 40 minutes of a blocked middle part of the screen.

There really should be some stick penalty for declining at that point.

There should be some kind of withdrawal penalty like :
- 1st withdraw 1 mn penalty (you can be stuck by something, it happens and 1mn is not long)
- if you withdraw again in the next 5/10 mn window then 5/10 mn penalty (really finish what you are doing)
- if you withdraw again in a 5/10 mn window the full penalty of 30mn (you are not serious)

Frontlines is amazing!

No penalty needed, let people check for the in progress if they want,
And let them withdraw before hand if they decide the want to do something
else or help some one out on something else, But when the duty Q pops
up, make them be unable to withdraw.

No need to let people fish for in progress in frontlines.

They really should just do it how it's done in Tera. Queue pops and you have 30 secs to hit confirm or deny. If you do neither, you get ported in along with everyone else so the battleground gets underway. If you're afk, you get booted after 1 min and the queue commences again to replace the member while the actual match begins.

I second this idea. I also wanted to add that the afk player thing never happened to me so this approach by SE is just over-cautious.

Lodestone update on Frontline queues issue

I queued up for 45 minutes yesterday and the amount of people who withdraw(ed?/n? I'm forgetting how to English) when it was on 71/72 was disgusting. I really want to give Frontlines a go but it's just disheartening to nearly be in, then to have 1 person, let down 71 people. Definitely need a penalty of sorts put in place.

Good stuff. Hopefully it works well enough that they decide to extend the feature to all duties (or at least Crystal Tower), not just Frontlines.

I'd still rather they canned the whole checkbox for choosing in progress duties because it's just not necessary, but at least they are addressing the issue.

I agree with 2.1 There's no reason to have to wait for 72 people to all hit accept. Just let us go in with however many people accept and fill the rest in with people queuing in progress.
