If I were you I'd do it just to get rid of that ridiculous midlander run.

Cats are awesome but Lalafels have their charm too, Miqo'tes look awesome as Puglist though.

Become Elezen or something if you must change. The game's already like 50% catgirls. :)

I had a midlander in 1.0, and I just couldn't hang with the run anymore :(

With that said, I do think Miqo'te are fun! We have pretty decent emotes overall, a normal run, and we look good in just about everything! People are always quick to point out how "infested" or overpopulated they are, but if you really want to give it a shot, don't let that stop you. There is fault to be found in all races.

The female midlander run is... uh... dainty. Also the jump. :)

Is there anyplace to compare all the races' run animations?

I think the best way is to either collect a friend from each race and have them perform for you, or create a mock character to test out.

I switched to a Lala for a short bit of time, and I've gotta say, I loved the fact that I could wear all my hoochie outfits and no one would blink an eye. How can one be offended by a potato?

Don't deny the urge within. Yolo, baby... Yolo...

I would say make an alt somewhere and get a feel for it. I started Lala on my main character, then went Cat, and totally regretted it for MONTHS. Finally Fantasias became available again and I became a Lala(again), then a Hyur(this one lasted 5 minutes ><) and then an Elezen.

I might change again but for now I like the tall humanoid mutant thing I have become. Take a cat out for a test drive is my advice then drink your fantasia only when you are confident of the change you are about to make.

All this talk about Lalas and Miqo'tes made me want to try being a Lala for once... good thing I already used my Fantasia. :P

Roe is the only real choice.
