Grand Companies Win/Loss Chances

As everyone gets to playing FL overtime, I'm just curious which GC's seem to be dominating more per data center?

I'm on Behemoth (Primal) and it seems that Adder wins pretty much every game.

Played two so far on Phoenix and Flames won first, then Maelstrom.

ORDER OF THE TWIN ADDER BABE! 1 win out of 1 game and i loved it gonna play again tomorrow since i dont have much time on my hands today!

In the 3 that I've done on Excalibur (Primal), the Maelstrom hasn't won once but we got 2nd twice - so that's something!

Aether (Balmung) I'm in the Maelstrom and Adders seem to be cleaning up any who oppose them. 10 matches more then 50% have been won by Adders.

I think it's been Adder that wins each round I've been in as well. It'll start out well and then out of now where it's like they own half or most of the map haha.

On Sargatanas the matches go the same way everytime.

Factions take 2 bases, fight over 1 - Immortal Flames goes middle, Maelstrom and Twin Adders spend the entire time headbutting each other over Manor or Market, Immortal Flames wins. Every time, without fail.

On Malboro (NA)

And I can say in this order

Mal , Immortal , and Adders

Adders always get blown away Mal always seem to have the more dominating and organized and Me in the Immortal coming in 2nd isn't bad capped wolf marks off 3 days of playing isn't bad rank 22 lol so I have no complaints we sometimes get 1st never a 3rd place finish for me I do have 15 2nd place finishes lol

Inmortal Flames, we pettry much wreck everytime we play i got 25 victorys already and 7 second places and only 3 third places, today we won twice even before any team reach 1k points

Changed Twin adder from the Maelstrom after 1 - 4 - 1 stats because fc mates wanted play there.

Uldah' Immortal Flames

Think it just varies, I myself had a 60% 1st ratio 80 games 3 days ago, now it's dropped down to 54% 1st place ratio. Been rough the last couple days. Pretty even across the board.

FaceBreaker our healer that plays a good amount has his mount already (100 wins)

From personal experience Flame won the least. Maelstrom seem to had the most wins here (Though we Flames did won my most recent campaign)

Some trolls that just chat and do nothing and/or won't work as a team which is why you see this. They rage and just bring everyone else down, usually the people that have the least experience in frontlines as well.

So far I've done 59 battles with the Maelstorm. 24 first place, 18 second place and 17 third place..

This hypothesis is to explain why Malestorm is always preveils in the Frontline, when both Immortal Flames and Twin Adders are unable to compete with.

I call BS if Green is Harmony then how come Rariry is white and how come the Mane 6 don't have a green member :p

In seriousness why attach harmony to the GC of Ul'dah, a place where merchants are kings and where a little coin is enough to instigate sociopathy? Balence dosen;t make sense since the Monetartists run the show and they are opposed to any moral choice 4 to 2 (or 5 to 1 since one of them was only in it for the PR)

Also the IF's Flag isn't green.

I think it simply ocmes down to the Maelstrom just having better players overall, or rather a majority of good PvPers are in the maelstrom.

This is good news fo when i finally decide to start Frontlines. Bad news for everyone else in TA though, I'm badly undergeared ;)

On Ultros the Maelstrom win every single match, and the Flames are always third.

...kinda makes me wish I didn't switch from Maelstrom to Flames to play with my friends

Maelstrom dominates on Excalibur (Aether?). Flames win sometimes. Out of 26 games I've only seen the Adders win 4 times.

Win rate: 15 games total ---> 1st: 2 wins, 2nd: 7 wins, 3rd, 6 wins.

It would seem that on certain days the Maelstrom dominate and on other days the Adders dominate with the Flames generally floating in and around the 2nd and 3rd place zone. Regardless, The flames are on (at least for me) a 13 game losing streak (or at least not coming in first place).

I am highly contemplating join the maelstrom.

I think it comes down to what the names of the GCs are. Kids/baddies come into the game and see "Maelstrom" and say, "what the hell is that". They see "Twin Adders" and say "meh". Then they see "Immortal Flames" and say "that sounds badass, I'm going to join them".

PSA: Join Maelstrom or Adders if you want more consistent wins on the Malboro block!!! lol.

My stats... Flames was 60% 1st place ratio when I first started.. been dropped since this week...down to 53% 79 1st place wins overall now... thank you guys. Honestly your stats are based individually... if you're losing most of your games on your GC... it is most likely you and not the entire GC. There are horrible players on all GC's...

They need to implement a zone for players below 50 1st place games...to play together. And more experience players to play together because half the time in my Frontline games, I still see people on my side using Morale il70 gear thinking morale works and their ilv will sync up to ilv80. Even after I repeated tell them it only syncs down and morale does not work. And the most inexperienced players are always talking the loudest...when they still have no idea what goes on in frontlines and just how important adds are compared to flags. It gets very frustrating to see when 2 other lanes just get completely lost on what to do, or what temple/market means. Especially when your own group is knocking it out in their lane, only for your team to lose.

Behemoth (Primal) / Twin Adder GC

Maelstrom is definetly the hardest to beat and Flames usually get the third place.

I'm on Ultros and it's rare that the Maelstrom doesn't win. I'm a member of the Immortal Flames and we're almost always 3rd place. This wasn't the case during the first week after the launch of 2.3. We actually won 5 out of the 20 matches I did. Now that were well into the second week after the launch we've yet to win any of the matches I've participated in. From what I've heard (might just be people making stuff up) a lot of people are transferring to the Maelstrom and their wait times are upwards of two hours or so. Being an Immortal Flame I generally can jump in within 5 minutes.

For some reason their is always a huge lack of communication and strategy when I jump into a match. I try to direct people but a lot seem to just ignore it and do their own thing. It doesn't help that sometimes I jump into a match and one of the alliances only has 3 members too.

I must have just been playing at the wrong times this week because the only matches I won as Maelstrom were the ones where I took a few friends in and we actually did something productive rather than sit around in the middle with our thumbs up our butts.

I have noticed that Flames almost always do horribly. Twin Adder seems more dominant if only because their entire goddamn faction is bards and healers, and also because they actually hold bases instead of sitting in the middle.

I can definitely confirm that queues went to hell fast after that first week where Maelstrom won nonstop. So I can really only come to one conclusion there.

On Primal the first week, Adders felt the most dominant but Maelstrom has stepped up their game this week and i find us winning more and more. Flames seem to be the weakest of the three imo

Speaking of wins and losses during PvP matches, have you ever received a bit more PvP experience points or Wolf Marks than usual after a Frontline battle concludes?

Well, if the Grand Company you belong to continues to rank at third place, a multiplier will be added to both PvP experience points and Wolf Marks and this will build up to a certain amount for each player.

So if you weren’t sure why sometimes you were receiving higher amounts of these than normal, it’s because of this multiplier. Once your Grand Company ranks at first place the multiplier will reset, but the bonus will be applied for that round.

Camate…always bragging about Maelstrom’s dominance, while I am just sitting in Frontline like, “Maybe we should go center everyone? >.>; OH! Never mind the enemy just captured our only flag. Q_Q”

Excuse my Frontline bitterness, I am a sore loser. Hope everyone is enjoying PvP and congratulations to all the players who earned their mounts! One hundred wins is quite the achievement.

Maelstrom must be on a streak of bad luck then in the bracket I play on.. I don't think we've won at all today haha. come in second quite a bit :P nice close calls. <3
