Alchemist Master recipe. Be prepared, they all require plenty of expensive mats, both Myth and Seal mats.

"Oh lord jesus its a fire!"
This is just so you can dye the level 45-50 AF armour right?
Wait... Does the armor get a boost in ilevel? For all this trouble, it better be a boost to ilevel100 at least!
It's a shame because I was planning on Dying my WAR AF and using it as glamour. So much for that, guess I'll just continue to look like a stove
I would bet its mainly due to AF armor really wanting to be distinguished as a single traditional color, but some people wanted it dyable and so they did.
It just takes a while to look different.
I really don't understand why they couldn't just make AF instantly dye-able like Darklight gear. It's ridiculous that you'd need all these items just to let you add color to something... is there even a way to see what the dye-able areas of the AF will be before acquiring all these costly mats, or are we supposed to just cross our fingers that we'll be able to dye the parts we want?
Disappointed that they said Artifact wouldn't be dyeable, and then added a way to due them.
I didn't think it would be possible to handle something as simple as this so poorly but SE has surprised me once again. Bravo.
Go do the quest. Augmenting the relic armor is a difficult task for the blacksmith. If you don't want a game with lore behind it then the FF franchise isn't for you.
Eh PASS for now ty;)
Yeeeep, not gonna spend millions to dye an i55 armor.
They over estimate the amount of ppl that treat glamour as a very important aspect.
On the other hand, you do have a bunch of people in this topic complaining about the items needed to glamour these armors.
Personally, I think SE went overboard on the requirements for the stuff they added today: glamours on AF costing several myth items is bad enough, but then they also made the synth for the magicked broom required to clean the chocobo stables use a glazenut, a broombrush and 5 bamboo (of which you can only get roughly 1 per hour). At least this synth makes 20 brooms.
How to screw up both dyeable AF and Chocobo Raising in one single patch.
Should have made it where the Myth version was dyable, as those are just reproductions of the Artifact armor (so no problems with those being dyable), at the very least theyre reproductions and not armor thats been passed down for years.
Which flags up an inherent design flaw in so much as everyone looks identical at max level due to the lack of variety in gear choices caused by a strict vertical progression where each significant update introduces one set of gear per job with bland and uninspired "+1 betterer" stats on it.
Can't believe there are actually people defending this..
It's scary how hastily people defend the choices made by the developers here. Like a cult worshiping some unsavory idol.
I made a comment about the poor implementation of the hunts yesterday in Coerthas and was accosted within seconds for being entitled because I felt the enemies were too weak and the basic concept was roaming around the highlands hoping the beast spawned on top of me so I could get credit.
I am soooo freaking depressed at the cost it is just to DYE af. Not many people are going to do this.
1500 myth. Lots of seals. What's the point? And for some pieces like chest and legs, it's TWO. So 3k myth
on top of needing a master craft just to DYE something.
I guess you have to sacrifice everything just to be a bit vain.
Does anyone know what is the point of the Augmented lv90 craftable armors??

Both of them have exactly the same stats for NQ/HQ
Both of them have " dye allowed " and " crests allowed "
Both of them have the same materia slots
Both of them are the same Item level
So... WHY does the Augmented one even exists?!?!?!?!?!?!
This explanation is not valid.
Gerolt uses a hammer to "repair" a book, then uses the same hammer to "repair" a wooden bow, before hammering on a mage staff.
Tell me what's harder, painting something or repairing a bow with a hammer?
Just take your AF to Gerolt. I'm sure he'll paint it with his hammer.
omfg really??
All those extra myth mats, the original ilv90 armor as material too, and 11 (yes ELEVEN) mid and high Demimateria for a GLOWING EFFECT ?!?!?!
This is far worse than the il55 augmented which is also very absurd.
i wasnt expecting nothing less , is SE afterall ~~
Let's not forget that you need to craft that recipe for every single piece of the set. Not one time for the whole set, no, 5 times if you want everything from the hat to the boots.
