Wow, that actually looks pretty good. Better than it looked in the official screenshot.

Really happy I didn't purchase any additional main slot equipment with Soldiery as some of it can be replaced with better items now. Despite the CT gear not being upgradeable.

Yes, from the stats I saw some of the tank pieces are worth it if you don't have High Allagan yet. Though I think i'll be going for DRG/BRD.

I'm really curious to see how the Casting robe looks on males now, because it's gorgeous on females.

Kind of pleased I geared my Mnk up in Soldiery and left my Whm in Relic. I'm not a fan of the appearance of the Mnk armour from there but the Whm gear looks awesome.

Ugh bard is so ugly.

And why am I not surprised the male version of the casting robe doesn't have a slit down the front to expose the chest like the female does. I guess it was too much to hope they'd at least be fair on sexualizing both genders. Sigh.

The problem I have with this gear is that it's the same lazy garbage that SE gave us last time. The gear looks great, don't get me wrong, but why do some pieces have to be same but in a different color?? Last time, the Bard/Drg & Healer/Caster gear, was identical save for the color. This time it's the same garbage! Why can't we get unique gear for all classes?? It's pure laziness

I was worried how they'd handle the caster/healer robe on men. Glad to see they gave it a little thought. That bit of armor changes the whole feel of it, kind of makes the look for the male perspective. I also think the bard armor is absolutely fabulous! Can't wait! Only question is, is it worth it? We need stats, stat!

but from the patch note they said:

"A fourth treasure chest may occasionally appear upon defeating the last boss of Syrcus Tower. The above restrictions do not apply to this treasure chest."

How did they lie to you? The UAT drops in the THIRD chest from the final boss. What doesn't make sense? The patch notes specifically say, a FOURTH chest is possible and DOES NOT COUNT towards your weekly lock out.

The fourth chest looks to contain the minion, NOT the unidentified tome.

Nah, our final chest held the onion knight, MNK body, UAT, and Oils of Time(which I won by mistake). No fourth chest dropped for us.

They never said UAT, Oil or Sand would be in the fourth chest though. The fourth chest contains the Throne Gem.

That healer and caster armor looks sooooo cozy! Like being hugged by a big dead bear thing. Too bad I don't main a healer or caster, just PLD and BRD. Time to level a new class!

Tank body armor. It dropped from the 3rd boss, I think. I saw it and decided to take my chances and see what it looks like.

Now that tank armor is something I can get behind. I'm not main class tank, but I don't like the look of a lot of their gear. I like that one.

I kinda like the tank chest better on the female then when I saw it on the Roe in the image they posted.

I too got the melee dps body (for my MNK). Those shoulders aka the American Football look..

I'm truly disappointed by the looks of these sets. Cross job sets for melee and tank yet again (caster/healers too?).

So, oils & UAT are already available?

Thought they were going to be added at a later date. So it's only sands that are delayed now? Or has anyone seen sands yet?
