point allotment

They're planning on removing physical levels.
If point allotment is still around, it will be done on a class by class level. (I'm not certain if it's staying, I haven't checked the news thoroughly in a while and don't remember all the details from the original announcement.)

They're going to make it so that you can allow your points to be auto-allocated (you can turn the option off) and also make it so that the point allotment is class specific.

It's only a matter of time!

EDIT: Hopefully they keep the reset button though so we can test out different stat allocations...

I'm thinking the point allotment system is there just so people can find their own optimum stats. Not aimed towards switching between fighter and mage classes. Took a while for me to just accept it and put away the wands =\

Now that attributes matter it's even more annoying. You join a dungeon party and then "can you change to healer plz?" and with your 0, 0, 0 mage setting you're pretty useless xD

Um I agree that the point thing is annoying, but it was confirmed months ago that it's being made class specific and will not have an affect.

LoL @ people complaining over being able to customizing their characters further... Just glad in 1.19 physical is getting removed and we're getting stats per class that'll be saved and points allowed dependant on your rank... you people and your handholding *Shakes head* Are you really that bad at math or too lazy to set points? ...

The poll results are finally coming together for this change in 1.19^^ <3 that the vote included more than just the majority of lazy, handholding NA players that are overbearingly anti social on this game, don't wanna do anything or think on their own. Not to mention coupled with the materia system, going to be really badass :P If you don't wanna "Think" Just wait for a auto system to hold your hands or go look up cookie cutter builds lol Let us other people have the "Freedom" to customize the classes the way we want! (Stats while mild atm won't remain so forever, they alrdy greatly affect your character if you know what you're doing. But the complainers of this patch on mp and hate management goes to show how bad the FF 14 community really is bad at playing the game when it starts to take brain power and skill... just saying lmao)

i hate one thing about the Point Allotement.. is the reset timer... and how much you can actually adjusted it ~_~ i dont mind a very looooooooooong reset timer, but i want the point to be reset completely! much easier! make it 6 or 12 hours reset timer i dont care! but let me just hit one time to reset everything! arghhhhhh
