what armor/weapon set is this??

The bow is Sarnga (i70 crafted bow) and the rest may be the Gryphonskin set for Archers (i70 crafted gear) dyed red I think.

Gryphonskin Hat
Gryphonskin Tunic
Gryphonskin Bracers
Gryphonskin Kecks
Mercenary Leggings

Sadly the hood/sleeves on the Gryphonskin Tunic is forever puke green.

You can only dye the "shirt part" and as far as I know none of the tunics has a black sleeve/hood area.

The tunic looks similar to the one the Bowlord uses at the Gods' Quiver (Gridania). It may just be an NPC-specific set as there are a lot of them in the world that we, the players, don't have access to. Hopefully at some point in the future we will be allowed to dye difference parts of each piece of gear to at least come close to replicating these sets with existing stuff.

Oh, and it does not look like this ingame. It looks horrible.

I feel there are few people who actually think gear design is horrible in this game. I hope SE will have time/money to cater to this a bit more.

The hat is Piesteskin and the rest is Drakescales. We don't have this in game yet.

If that that is true, it looks just like the Gryphonskin i70 gear for bard. So I hope you're wrong. We don't need other gear which is more of the almost exact same. :(

While it's similar, you can tell it's different from the materials which are clearly distinguishable.
There are various sets that look alike. The Rainmaker's set also is a copy along with various other low level sets for the Archer class.

No but seriously, my point is that they recycle stuff so often and use designs for different jobs too. We have a glamour system, let's actually have stuff to glamour to look different. :D
