Did you consider that she's probably flying in the air behind the player?

It's possibly because she's zoomed in and is flying above the ground, thus giving the illusion of large appearance.

She's flying yea but the shadow on the ground makes you think she's not far off the ground. Although, i dont think thats her shadow

If she were on or close to the ground, you'd see her shadow. You can't; ergo, flying.

I expect she flies at the same height as the Moogle.
