I understand the community rep had stated that we will get a ward
however, it being not mentioned in the patch notes worries me....
Any rep can confirm if we getting new wards and how they planning to address the prices?
Thanks!

I've been asking about pricing for months with no official reply on here or twitter.
Yeah, we're getting wards, but the prices are a serious concern of mine as well. The prices are going to determine if my FC should clear out our current house the night before the patch or not - if we don't clear it so we've got the furniture ready to move, we might not be able to get to the new plot we want fast enough to grab it up. If we do, and it's still out of our price range...well, then we have to rebuild our current house setup from scratch. This is a pretty major thing to be so quiet on for so long.
Greetings,
The patch notes for patch 2.3 that we released last week did not include everything that is in the patch. The full notes will be released along with the implementation of the patch. But don’t worry; new wards will be included in patch 2.3.
If the post the full notes beforehand it can lead to a lot of issues. They were gutsy as it is with the preliminary notes and listing all those items. People have already started hoarding potential crafting mats for the new stuff. If they hold to previous patches the notes should be put up either just before or just after the servers come down.
Exactly. While information on new housing wards probably wouldn't cause a problem, I can't really say without knowing the details. They probably shouldn't have released that list of items containing Dodore ring, chocker, belt, and survival belt. That's generally the sort of situation they're trying to avoid. I suppose they didn't notice that the names of the items in this case completely gave away at least one and probably the rarest ingredient.
They probably didn't mention it in the preliminary patch notes because they don't want to 'give away' the prices. I can understand this, although I am very anxious not knowing the prices... as my FC has saved for a long time to get a medium, and it will be extremely disappointing if the prices for mediums are incredibly high and outside of the means of our current savings. Plenty of members have and are willing to donate much more (myself included) but not knowing the price to save up for prior to the patch means that FCs with more savings in their bank could just snag all the mediums up immediately. I suppose this is only a very real fear on high population servers.
More curious about housing prices. If they're the same as when they're originaly released and not the lower prices this would most certainly favor the very rich of eorzea.
prices are out (in JP patch notes)
Basically prices are only 50% of 2.0 initial prices :)
will become 50% of that after 3 months (prolly wont get there as i forsee houses sold in day 1 haha)
patch note is up for english can see there now.
What I would like to know is, what does first class, second class, and so forth mean? Are they a grades of small, medium or large? Or are they a means of imposing permissions on what SE will let you include in a cheaper small, medium or large house? (CMs, I'd be curious to get your views on this one, as we have an FC that are considering acquiring small - and trading up later. That said, I've also seen discussion in here about the possibility of owning more than 1 house at some point in future.)
To make things easier for those who don't want to scroll through the release notes (please note that this is copy/pasted, and I'm NOT going to spend the time lining it up):
A sixth ward has been added to all residential areas.
The pricing for land on all Worlds has been set as follows:

* Pricing has been based on the amount of gil in circulation on each World.
* The grouping listed above is subject to change based on variance in population and economy.
* Newly vacated plots of land in wards one through five will begin sale at the prices listed above, gradually lowering in price over time.
Holy crap! over 70million gil?!?!? That's a rich free company. Feel free to invite me. LOL
Yeah, I was taking a chance to look around Mist when the patch dropped. I think you might be right on that point. I'm still curious about the multiple houses point, but I think we've made a call that trading up from a small house is probably not such a huge gil loss once we have made our squillions of gil.
