Error: 5006 - The Lobby Server Connection Has Encountered an Error.

I am getting this error when trying to login this morning. I have not had this issue in the past.

I am on a PS4.

Having the same issue. Error code sometimes gives me 5006, sometimes 2002.

I'm on PC.

EDIT: Working again, now.

Same here, first I got 6001 and now 5006.
I'm on the NA data center.
I can ping it getting 28ms so there's a connection but cant get into game.

Update: It's working, I got in!!!!

I'd suppose something's being wonky with their lobby servers at the time. The issue resolved itself for me rather quickly after my first login attempt today. Hopefully you'll be good to go in a few minutes too.

I am attempting to get to my character on the Primal servers and I am getting an error 5006

Lobby Server error 5006, Primal Data center. Elemental, Gaia, Mana, Chaos ok. Errors on Primal (Primary) and Aether.

Edit Servers and now I just got in to primal.

Getting the same 5006 error. I'm on (NA) Primal - Lamia

Getting the same errors on Chaos (EU). I've been trying to get in over the past half hour, without any success. Also, I'm playing on PC.

EDIT: somehow, as I posed this message, it fixed itself. I guess you'll just have to keep on trying until you're in.

Also having issues, 6001, 5006. Fails when contacting data center and crashes before loading character lists. system seems irrelevant but on pc. Wife is also have this issue on another computer, same network. changing to mobile hotspot network doesn't help either.

Was getting 5006 Errors last night, but I haven't tried this morning yet.

EDIT: Still can't connect as of 10am CDT. Aether Data Center, PS3.

While we are on this topic lets bring up a very flawful technical issue about the login process.

Why is once the game window is up and you are at the start screen, when you get a error the client has to completely shut down? Forcing us to go through the login process again.

Why cant the game window just stay open? Why does it have to shut down after a connection error?

Error 5006. Cannot login whatsoever. Please look into this.

EDIT: Kept trying periodically, and got in after around the tenth try.

Finally got in after several tries. Seems to be centered on Primal servers.

After several attempts of getting in and then getting kicked off again and again, I'm finally fed up enough to go to sleep.
Not to mention I just lost a treasure hunt map fight because I was locked out but the timer keeps ticking even though the rest of the game is frozen T_T

It's still going on. Error 5006 PC and PS3. Kinda irritating we have to do the ENTIRE log in process like 10 times before it fixes itself. Happens on Primal AND Aether

Also getting the 5006 error. I was getting it last night logged in this morning fine then logged out for a moment now cant get back in. This is getting kinda ridiculous with the amount of server errors this game faces. Also I bet we don't see a fix or response until after 4th of july.

on Cerberus (PS4) and got the same 5006 problem

EDIT: Just got to selection screen, selected character and it said game world was full lol

Upon clicking start while the game is receiving the information from the data server, error message will display and force shutdown the entire game.

Error 5006 on Excalibur. Game is broke. Just started today and has been ongoing for hours. Is this being addressed?

Well, i was playing normally, and when i switched charcters i couldnt log back in, getting this error.
Leviathan server.

Error 5006 - shiva server - chaos data center

(love how long it takes SE to respond to massive problems like this)

Having issue also...had it yesterday too but I managed to get back in within 3 min.. not so lucky today...

1) change data center
2) change it back to original
3) connect

Worked for me
