Can we please be barefoot?

What's with the FFXI-style Talaria everyone's forced to wear? Kinda odd that we all have to wear sandals in out swim trunks on the beach.

Can we be barefoot? Please?

(edit: I suppose Talaria was a full boot, which would be worse in this case, lol)

I agree wholeheartedly! a real barefoot option would be cool cause the "Whatever sandals" match nothing T.T

I agree with this. Might be difficult to give female characters feet that still match their current stance without looking strange, though.

There are Summer Sandals in the game data now that look rather nice. I don't know if anyone knows how to get them though....

Also, there are real sandals in the game data as I said above, I just have no idea how to get them. Do a search in the MB for Summer Sandals and use the Try On feature to see them. (http://xivdb.com/?item/8556/Summer-Sandals)

They can't allow people running around without any shoes on. Otherwise, there will be air pollution throughout the realm.

What about some Glamours of Invisibility? I don't want to be forced to wear a odd top on my male beach-going Miqo'te while wearing my tank gear, nor forced to wear gloves, nor as mentioned here, sandals. (I'll tolerate being forced to wear undies however, though I'd at least like to dye or cycle styles of smallclothes as well perhaps?)

Because Shioban may not be correct. The Sea Breeze Summer Halter and Sea Breeze Summer Pareo are crafted and not Moonfire Faire items. I suspect the sandals you are referencing are also crafted.

No when you indeed wear no foot armor you are wearing sandals.

I think it's hilarious, personally. We joked in my FC that the swimsuits have 100% Shark Resistance on them. Sadly, the bonus only applies to the clothes themselves, and not the unfortunate swimmers who get eaten by gigantsharks.

Some of us have a zero tolerance shoe-on-bed policy. The swimsuits are already a bit awkward without actually going barefoot. Some of these oddities should at-least be looked at again.

lol I do know that westerners tend to sleep with their shoes/socks on. This is not the case on easterners since majority don't sleep with shoes on. Why do you want to put muddy shoes on bed? :p

Tbh, I've not met anybody that actually goes to bed w/ their shoes on. Socks yes, particularly in the wintertime and they're trying to stay warm.

I was wondering if some day do this request myself, seriously.... Why do we have to wear those damn annoying sandals when we have nothing put in footwear?!.... IT would be like having annoying guantlets when nothing put there...

I don't think it is really a so difficult think to add to the graphics....Those sandals when not wearing anything just look wrong, unnatural and odd. And I'm glad to see I'm not t0e only one thinking so!

If someday this changes, add some invisible glamour, to hands too. I hate almost all the gauntlets of the game and only ones that shows a little the hands are or leather right bands (Not my style) or Bard's righbands (Okay, these ones are cool, but... Only bards)
