Well, if so keep reading on, as we could be the perfect choice for you.

Helix Aurora was made with the first statement in mind. myself and co-founder Jasminum Nudiflorum have played a few MMO's but one thing we always found are that there are gamers that are in the same boat as we are!!

Most of the time we would get to know a few of these people and they would be in Guilds, leagues etc... that would be on all day and everyday but by the time they got on after work or sorting the family out, all the content was finished and they had been left out.

So we thought okay lets do something about this and we set up a guild made for these people, that guild is now the FC Helix Aurora.

We are a Semi Casual, relaxed, and stress free FC that does anything and everything this game has to offer well except PvP until its sorted out and balanced.

So far we have some amazing members they are friendly, kind, helpful and just great people to be friends with.

Although we are semi-casual and relaxed we play to win in anything we do, we just don't bring the Elitist BS that some people get rammed down their throat for no real reason, if your new to content no problem we will work it out together with no making you feel stupid by calling you a n00b, a term that gets thrown around by people that don't really no what it means!!!

We are an English speaking guild/FC based mainly in the UK, although we do have members from around Europe and other continents.

Our main hive of activity is of an evening from around 7:00pm GMT London until stupid o'clock Monday to Sunday although weekends tend to be a little quieter.

We are a very social group, we have Mumble for voice communication, we text chat a great deal in game and we also communicate out of game on our Guild website forums.

Our website is used for organizing weekly events, help in game, random chat and recruiting, so members are asked to join via the website application process which takes no time at all

Recruitment:

Most of members are running end game content although we do have people leveling. So if your leveling or running end game stuff you are welcome to join.
As for roles/classes we need, we are looking for mainly Melee and ranged DPS although as the FC grows we will need more of everything to make multiple raid/dungeon teams.

We don't want to be one of these FC's with hundreds of people, we want to keep a limit on our members so that people do not get drowned out by the masses as that is a horrible experience to go through, so if we reach that cap i will post on this thread.

Hello fellow player!

Just to follow on from Marfy's post above. I joined Helix a couple of months back after seeing Jas's post on another forum. At the time I was brand new to the game, not really sure what to expect and knew nobody on here at all. Very glad I did join this FC though - no regrets at all.

The FC is a really great one to be in - the founders (and other members) are all fantastic people, very welcoming and friendly. If you're new to the game and don't want to rush into things, but at the same time have the opportunity to try everything with players who won't (seriously) ridicule you or pressure you, this FC is the place to be.

We're a very social and friendly bunch, we don't take things too seriously and above all we like to have a laugh while at the same time sampling everything the game has to offer and helping other members to do the same.

thanks for your input Casti, it means a lot to Jas and myself to see that the members of our FC are enjoying there time in our merry band.

I feel things in the FC will only get better with the new website being up and running, gives us more ways of getting things organized in game as well as having a place to chill out and chat.

I've been a member of Helix Aurora for a few months now and I can re-affirm everything that Marfy and Casti said below. Helix is full of friendly and fun loving people that you'll get to know and enjoy the game with if you decide to join. We try to get the most out of the game by doing a range of content that the game has to offer and we enjoy all of it together.

The FC offers knowledgeable and helpful people, the FC website is awesome and offers the opportunity to communicate and coordinate content with other FC members.

Helix Aurora comes can't be recommended highly enough!!

Hey people thought i would just post an update about what Helix Aurora is up to atm.

Well first off we are making some cosmetic changes to our website but all recruitment applications and site activity is still working fully.

In game we have been challenging the BCoB turns 1 - 5 although we have not finished turn 5 yet but we will get there :D

Quite a few of us are leveling our crafters and gatherers up atm so that we can help the FC get helpful items it also ties in with our own FC jobs system we have to get people that want to be, more involved in the FC.

Daily Dungeons, Duty roulette's, beast tribe quests and atma/fate farming is always going on.

So there is plenty to do when joining us.

So Patch 2.3 Defenders of Eorzea is out and I have to say that it is a breath of fresh air, lots of new content and other stuff to get on with :D

Helix Aurora has a lot planned for all this new stuff including some new CT runs, new Expert Dungeon runs, Hunt runs plus all the stuff we were doing before the patch... things just got a lot more fun.

End Game recruitment update:

We as an FC are doing a lot of endgame at the moment with focus on:

BCoB Turns 1-5 (we can finish all up to turn 5 which we have just started learning)

Extreme Primals

Expert and High level Dungeons (can comfortably clear all )

Syrcus Tower

We are in need of people also wanting to learn this endgame content we are not looking for people who have an elitist attitude or people that want to be carried through

Our top priority is to get some more Dps although Tanks and Healers are welcome to join to.

So I've only been an active member of Helix for a couple of months, but in that time I have been made to feel as though I am really a full part of this family! Everyone within the FC is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and are eager to involve everyone in activities be it endgame raids, dungeons, or helping with various quests. It is the first time in my tenure of playing MMOs that I have found a guild who are like-minded, mature, and are simply playing to have a good time and enjoy the game. I couldn't imagine calling anywhere else my home :)

Thanks for your kind words Dio ^^ means a lot to Jas and myself as your post reflects on what we were hoping to achive as an FC and for our Members.

We have had many new members joining us recently and so far it's been a fantastic experience for the whole FC we are having lots of fun playing together and meeting many new and down right friendly and funny people.

As an FC we are saving up for an upgrade to our house as a small place just won't cut it now.

We are also gunning for Turn 5 more than ever and making real progress with it as well as the extreme primal fights and our members that are still leveling are making great progress.

We are still recruiting members but we are getting a few too many healers for endgame its not a problem with Dungeons as we have enough other classes to help with them. it's just that we want all of our members to join in with our raids and obviously if we have to many of a single class people will miss out and i don't want anyone to feel like they are being left out.
