My Bard Problem.

I hope I'm not perceived as the person to whine about not getting what I want, I just want to ask a question relating to bard drops.

For the past 4 days now, I've ran T2. Enraged Mode. 3/5 Hours each day, done about 40 - 50 runs, in that region. Not once have I encountered the Allagan mask of Aiming.

Yet, Casters, Healers, Are getting atleast an item a round, it can't be coincdance because it's happend each consecutive day. I've had the same problem with Shikaree doublet/boots, if it's not healer/caster stuff, it's those petty mats which are just a total pain in the butt.

I fully accept the fact it's a rat race, and based off luck, but have other bards had this problem? I'm not in a FC, so I don't really have anyone to ask. The feedback is appreciated however. + Yay first post. :D

First rule of loot: RNG is a bitch.

Percentages are percentages and there's nothing that guarantees you will EVER get a drop. If you want a guaranteed drop just get the crafted one with some myth tomes and a friend who can craft it for you.
I doubt Yoshi has a grudge against bards and has made the visor an ultra rare drop. If does, it's probably just against you for doing enrage instead of glorious Rot juggling.

I had to run T1,T2 and T4 for about 80 times each to get the stuff I wanted for monk, dragoon and scholar so no it's not just bard

Aye I knew a friend once who ran T1, must have been at least 60 times for just the Healing Gloves, so it's not just you.

Also RNG is a swine because I bet you as soon as you go in as a Different Class beside BRD the BRD visor will drop.

The general rule with random drops is that you never get a drop for the job you're playing...

I have the problem with the tank stuff from CT, which I want mainly because it would look great on my Paladin, with the difference that in my post xx runs I haven't seen a single piece of it drop, regardless of which job I'm playing :)

I've never seen the brd's mask drop in T2 ever. It took me close to a 100 dungeon runs to get Shikaree's Doublet, I kid you not. Thank god I was e only BRD in the light party when the Doublet dropped or I would have lost it. gL to ya.

Get in line lol. I've been doing T2 for 3 weeks trying to get the chest piece for blm and have only seen it drop 4 times. Rolled a 1,7,4, and 15. To add insult to injury I decided to do T4 Saturday to take a break from T2 and maybe get the leg piece and the healer version of the chest drops on the first run and I win it with a greed roll of 97 lol...

I ran T4 for over a week 4-5 hours a day just to get the healer robe. RNG not just a b1tch, it is freaking cu_t

That bard visor took me forever. I could've replaced it with soldiery but it became an obsession, I had to have it.

The only other time I saw it drop before I got it, I lost the roll to a bard who was enjoying his 1st time. After being stuck in there for hours I wanted to cry a little lol.

Never seen Shikaree's Doublet!

Ha! I can completely relate to that. Buddy of mine in voice chat kept saying "just buy the soldiery one" I was at the point where I was determined to get the damn chest piece for my blm lol. I spent soldiery on other pieces instead.

Never seen got the visor from T2 until few weeks back in 2.2, which is again, after farming T2 for some 30-40 round. I wasn't even after it, was running as a Healer for healing drops and no one wanted it so I took it.

Ran another 30+ T1 to get the healing accessories too.

RNG is sure a bitch, got to learn to live with it.

Last night was the 9th week of T8 and I finally got a aiming drop from it. The past 8 weeks, no aiming from T8

makes me feel kinda of bad cuz I've gotten the visor like 4 or 5 times cuz i keep forgetting i already have one on my retainer. I get it on greed all the time. Wish I had that luck with the chest piece.

Well RNG seems to be a great troll here lol. Ever since Coil 1 launched, I only had the aiming gloves which is after I bought the myth hands. Then it was until dec 13 I got the choker. Waited until feb 14 to get the boots. Then Allagan Bow 3-4 days before Patch 2.2. LOL.

Thank the twelves I had slightly better luck with Coil 2

I used to get Bard drops all the time pre-2.3 but I have not seen much of the new Bard stuff since the new patch. Amon's Boots and Legs in ST, 'tis about it!
I gave up on Shikaree's pants - never dropped for me. :(
