I took a few months away from FFXIV to try wildstar and ESO. Biggest mistake I have ever made in my life!...okay not really. But man, those 2 have nothing on FFXIV.

I criticise this game a lot, but I still think it's the best around in this moment. Wildstar and ESO are simply awful, though for nearly opposite reasons. ESO is a potentially good game ruined by a very sloppy implementation and some bad design flaws. Wildstar is a more polished implementation of a bunch of really lousy ideas.

Ya I do think this is the best MMO on the market. I dont know if I would call ESO/wildstar awful, they just arent good enough. With ESO, its like for everything it did right, it did something wrong too. And wildstar is not shy about how it lifted all of its ideas from WoW, which makes the game feel uninspired, really.

I like wildstar though I probably won't be resubbing till they get their game breaking bugs and fps issues fixed. That being said I love the difficulty in that game and kinda makes me chuckle when anyone says this game is hard. Also the elitists in there make the ones here look like a neutered cat.
Edit: Oh and wb to ffxiv. Already liking you based on your stance on cut scene watching. -
