New to the game and looking for likemined people...

Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and fame, pleased to meet you, can you guess my name? Okay that is from a song although the title of it escapes me at this point in time. Anyway I am Nitsu!!! {cue scary sound effect and lightning} I am just your average n00b to FF XIV ARR and I am looking for a group of people to enjoy the game with.

Okay, before I get to my original point I just want to take a moment and say trying to post on this forum from a ps4 its like doing plastic surgery by yourself, painful.

Now like I was saying like minded people. About myself, Im 25, a guy, complete nerd, 136 IQ, live in northern Indiana, work nights and have a very set schedule. I play most mornings from 7 AM to 10 AM, with nearly every other weekend free to just game. I understand I have a unique schedule and finding comrads might be hard to do, good thing for me that I have no loyalty to any of my characters.

I am an mmo veteran. Started with Everquest, then to city of heroes, some WoW, the old republic and DCUO. Now I\\\\\\\\'m here. I play on ps4 and do have a headset. Give me 5 minutes and I\\\\\\\\'ll talk your ears off. Anyway I look forward to enjoying this game and hopefully I won\\\\\\\\'t be Moses walking through the desert for 40 years.

Unfortunately I play the PC version, and I'm on a different server, but if you're looking for friends or a possible linkshell/Free Company to join, a good place to start is to check the forum for your server, which can be found here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/827-Leviathan

Just started a new guy on Framfrit by the name of Jasin Bitsy. It'll be a few before I'm anywhere near high enough for him to be fun but I've made the starter trek enough to level him pretty fast. I think I'm getting ahead of myself. I read over your post and you guys seem like exactly what I'm looking for in a crew. So if you'll have me I'll be waiting...

Hey I'm from Indiana as well. I live in Indianapolis. I'm also on Balmung server so you should totally come and play. I'm 24...25 July 7th and I am getting married to my partner Tommy on July 3rd. He plays WoW and I play ARR. We're gay, but that shouldn't matter when making gaming friends. I hope you're still on here and see this. Would like to play with you and get to know you. You're the first person I've seen on here from Indiana.

I'm originally from northern indiana myself. Moved toward the Indy metro for a job opportunity. I'm a huge gamer and have been for many years. I'm a technical support advisor for Mac computers so I'd like to think I'm decently sharp.

My armada of real life friends all play on Faerie, so there is no shortage of folks to meet if either of you are looking for a different server. ;)

Oh cool, I might do that. I just started a FC on Balmung so I'm pretty connected on that server as well as two of my friends and my stepbrother play on Balmung. But yeah I will look into Faerie and you should take a look at Balmung.

Looks like I can't make a toon on Faerie...since I have one on Balmung. Same server. I don't know if it will cost extra to make one on Faerie or not.

Faerie might be currently restricted to new character creations and transfers at the moment - this happens due to simply too many people currently logged into the game on that server (this is an indication of just how successful the game is ;)). It changes though so it's just a matter of trying and eventually you should be able to get onto that server. :)

A good place to check is on the Lodestone where SE regularly updates the current server restrictions (every six hours in fact) - bare in mind though that this can change at a moment and so that information might be out of date as soon as it's posted. But it's still a good rough guide to how likely you'll be able to get onto a server you want or not.
