Why aren't the bots banned yet?

50% of my games have a bot in them, and like 20% of them have 2 bots. I have reported them several times for cheating. What does it take for SE to do something?

And don't give me that "they ban" in batches thing (it's probably just a warning and they get off scot free). It's been weeks already. Get a GM to at least look at some of the reports. Suspend them from pvp for a week or something. At least look at the goddam names that have more than 10 reports.

At least the warrior bots from before did some damage. The drg bot does nothing but wake up sleeps and break binds. You know who I'm talking about.

I once reported someone for harassment and I got a response in just a few hours. Maybe I can reword it and report for harassment for disrupting the game or something. Cause obviously whoever is managing the cheating reports is doing jack for pvp.

Orrrrr.....they can take those reports, figure out how the bots exploit the system, write code to patch the hole, test it, then deploy it with the next patch.

But hey, who am I kidding? That'd make sense. HANG EM HIGH!!!!

You know this bot has been on across multiple patches right? Also if they really wanted to do that, they could just download the bots and examine them directly.

But even if they are doing that, this strategy only works for things like bot miners or tell spammers because they don't interfere with gameplay as much and they can be avoided. The pvp bots degrade the gameplay way more and require much faster response.

I met a bot in Chaos datacenter, it's a dragoon Roe, no communication, no strat :p

Just target the enemy healer and attack him, using only the ability Heavy trust and Jabalin.

I reported him as harrassment and cheating. Only GM response they can't do anything.

I completely agree because everyone knows it's the DRG Yui Kotegawa from Adamantoise and they've been doing it for months now and survived through multiple waves of bot banning so it's just baffling to see this bot still running today and with new gear to boot.

We are used to the bot than we adapt our strat to him.

Our bot is pigenard teb, full pvp lvl 70 from cerberus. He attacks the healer, so me as marauder and other dps focus the caster-melee to kill him.

Sometimes is fine and others not.

you need to report them via the website, not ingame. Although by the time I figured that out, the Primal datacenter's resident bot had already got his r38 gear and had started playing for real.

Yup, I know the DRG & the BRD that does it; I simply apologize to the team, and leave: rather I get nothing then supplying them with the maximum amount of points and take my 30 min debuff. I know your frustration; reported them over 30 times in the past mo/

I'm about to get banned from this damn forum and a hot minute. SE 10 matches with that BOT today, that filthy DRG.. the damn clown doesn't even bot properly he doesn't move he doesn't cooperate. If you want to promote facking botters in your damn pvp brackets I WANT A DAMN VOTE TO DISBAND THE PARTY!!! and yes i'm infuriated.

In our datacenter there's atleast 2 players doing it non stop. I reported the one in our server. I hope he gets banned.

I started opening tickets under harassment instead of cheating. Got a response from a GM in under an hour. I just keep reporting them, and either they'll get tired of me opening a ticket everytime he's in my match, or they'll get around to taking care of it. One suggestion I have is to add in a question and have multiple choice answer. If you can answer the question, you are entered into the match. Otherwise, you get the deserter debuff for 24 hours. You can make the answer buttons spread out and random each time so you couldn't "accidentally" misclick the right one, and make it a confirmation. I would imagine that could break several of the bots.

Haven't seen Primal's infamous bot in ages. Hoping that reporting him via the website a few weeks ago finally did the trick. Wish I had the link to it since it was a huge pain in the butt to find.

Yeah, to avoid forum banning, I call em GUI and ike lol. GUI started out in 30/40's, and pretty much ended my 30/40 career. When GUI entered 50's, I made an event called friendlies to not deal with the pug problems anymore X_x.

Luckily, GUI and I play DRG. Never on my team. But GUi does rob me of satisfaction every time I beat our data centers best and then I notice GUI was on their team.

Ikebot beat guibot hands down. And when GUI does play, it's just as sad as their not :(

Good old Teb, yeah he's becoming more and more (in)active in matches

A few days ago he was actually participating with a basic script that just made him walk towards a random target and auto attack them, but then he just got stuck on a wall

Seems he gave that up and is back to afking

I hope whoever controls their character sees this, they're ruining the fun of PvP. I've reported you twice now, I hope that SE does something.

Lol, I'll say this, got my tenth match in for the week, #10 match your favorite Dragoon. Well you can just say because of que times it doesn't matter, anytime i see a bot I just buff the party. Prot/SS and give my farewell address. I'd rather lose get no xp then give that dude a win. 30min debuff/1hr que-time I think it's a win/win. SE stop being lazy.

You know SE, I normally just leave when I see "Aether's" classic renown bot- He's leveled various classes in the Wolve's Den (Dragoon & for a brief moment a Paladin, he's a better Bot on his Paladin).
I was going to leave but I said why not just carry the match out for as long as I can.
over the course of 26+ minutes. The BRD died 5 Times. I rezzed him until he couldn't handle the pain.. Endurance is weak. Rezzed the MRD 3 times. & unfortunately I couldn't rez our classic bot because unlike him he won't accept a rez..
In addition, to being hit by 4 LB's none of them kill me due attunement or an Aldo crit. & who has our LB the non rezzable bot lying on the floor for 20 minutes.

The only active quality participant on my team was the MRD that refused to die "admirable quality."

26 Minutes SE & I get 16 Wolf Marks 3v4 for 23 minutes.. GG SE, you really care about PvP.

If it helps at all my link shell speaks well of you somewhat often Vitorinno. For both your skill and generally being a "cool dude" during loses, saying positive stuff when you see them again after good matches.

Can't hate on success lol. Kinda like how Zero blew up 50's last night single handedly. Serious saw him drop 3 people in 20 seconds ;p 30k damage in 45 seconds.

I love how notorious this botter is and yet nothing is done (I JUST lost another match thanks to him breaking my binds). Usually when someone has a repore of this magnitude, usually an investigation and justice happens pretty quick, since it's distinct, but you know, their is a reason why we have to use busy tags, because nothing is being done about this botting problem as a whole.

Welp, it's almost been a month since I made the post. The drg botter is still there and sporting a few new pieces of gear to boot. Literally nothing has been done. I thought Yoshi liked pvp? Cause right now there is no fun in queuing for 10-20min only to get a 2min match where you have like 1% chance of winning due to the bot. At this point, it's basically really slow win trading where either the bot is on my team or the opponents team. And the current setup for PvP (long queues, imbalanced matches, botters, taking forever to rank, taking forever to get gear, no bans at all for botting) only serves to make botting and win trading the only proper way to play. Looks like SE just doesn't care as long as they have your money.

The occasional real game is really fun and gets the heart pounding, but at this point it's just not worth it any more. It's stupid to not win trade at this point, it just sucks that I held out some shred of hope for this long that SE would do something.

On Exodus, i've reported Yozy Amy 3 times now for botting. Still see him every day. Dont think SE cares, they probably think the spam on the chat is more of a problem than the bots..rofl
