Good question
Bumping for Dev visibility and still hoping for an answer.
Use the force?
Curious about this as well.
Bump
I looked through every menu last night and couldn't find it anywhere (I tried both as a botanist and not). I haven't done any gathering since the update so maybe wherever the list is it won't show up until after you have done some gathering.
No answer yet....
Hmmmm
Possible that it's just a lodestone tracker stat, like how it totals your number of completed leves? I hope not but...
Trying to find this out too, been out mining this morning post patch and can't seem to activate this feature at all. Any help would be great.
Thank you
yeah it is starting to sound like it might have been a mistranslation, and it might be something loadstone related.
Was wondering this myself.
i looked @ my lodestone profile/history and couldn't find anything. tried everything in the menu without any luck. community reps, please enlighten us!
would have to wait for monday for a dev post but i like to know this also :( i thought maybe it be something on the map that display your last point or somethign not yet test it or anything seeing how i not yet got on mining.
I guess it's a future feature, but you can already start registering the gathering points you visit.
Bump for the hopes a dev sees this and can provide some insight.
There is no tracker in this sense. I thought so too when I read the patch notes. What they meant was:
Before the patch you could go to an area and hit, for example: a tree, a harvest, and then a mine, and then you could go back to the tree and log again. Now, the game tracks these nodes per DoL, not just overall. So now, if you want to chop that first tree again, you have to log/harvest 3 different nodes. In the example I gave, it would not reset any of the 3 nodes harvested, a third botanist node would need to be found before chopping that first tree again, and 2 more mining/quarry nodes would need to be found to mine that first rock again.
I found this out the hard way when I tried to level botanist and miner at the same time at camp tranquil. I hope this clears things up. Go try it if you want to verify it yourself :)
